Hamster Climbing Toys

Some varieties of hamsters love jumping and climbing, notably Dwarf species such as Roborovskis. In the wild, they climb through tunnels and thick vegetation, and will relish the chance to do the same in captivity.

Hamsters tend to climb up and across the bars of their cage bars. If you have a Qute, the hamsters will enjoy whizzing up and down the connecting tube. You could also provide them with some rope, an inch or so above floor-level, or a small climbing frame. What you don't want is something too tall that your hamster could fall off and hurt itself.

Hamsters love clambering all over things in their cages

Along with the low horizontal ropes, you could invest in climbing frames, seesaw tunnels, and perches. See what the pet store has in stock, and see if you can make something safe and suitable at home. The more toys they have, the happier your hamsters will be.
