The jacket arrived just in time for the -12 temperature we had during the big freeze. All four chickens stayed warm and cosy inside overnight and opted to sit inside during the day too! Front vent still allows for air circulation.

We bought this for our bantams just before the snow. So glad we did, they were cosy and warm and even decided they would lay despite the freezing temperatures!

My hens are going to be nice and cosy with their added protection from this new cover. It feels lovely and thick with a good weight to it, just like a good quality heavy duvet. It fits nicely around the outside covering all the gaps where wind couldn't get through. I think my hens will be very happy.

Delighted with item fits perfect and draws snug, however, I thought it would also cover the rear not just the top and sides.
