Verified Reviews for Outdoor Chicken Run Covers
Back to ProductEasy Peasy! - Polly,
With drastic weather conditions from swealtering, to freezing, droughts to floods, I needed a stronger tarp/cover solution for my walk-in run. This fits the bill perfectly! Easy to install and adjust for a perfect fit. I opted for a bit off center installation as we tend to get more rain from the backside. The ease of installation allowed for this minor adjustment to fit our needs perfectly!

Good Solution - David,
Wanted to cover one end of the chicken run to keep it dry but not exclude any light as well as stop any droppings from wild birds in the tree overhead. This was the solution. It's not completely smooth plastic although it should improve with pressure from the securing clips and time.

Dissapoited - Joanna,
I bought few clear and green covers I am so frustrated because for a chicken run the covers should be longer then just 3m. Even if you cover the top and it rains the rain gets in anyways because the cover is not long enough to cover the sides. Those rains covers are design more for a rabbit runs not a chicken runs.
For that price it should be long enough to cover the run from one end to the other!

Good quality cover - An Omleteer,
Bought to add to the others we already had to cover over the hen run completely and to give weather shelter from the prevailing wind and rains. Our girls are now in a nicer environment even though restricted to a smaller area due to the avian flu problems and at least they can still get out of the henhouse. Easy to use and fix on to the omlet run with two people on it.

Actually used for around the base of the parrot cage! - Sam, Kent,
We have these on the top of our Eglu run, but this smaller one I actually got to go around the bottom of our parrot cage for three reasons; 1. To stop our baby sticking his fingers through the bars 2. To try and catch some of the seeds that the parrot flicks about 3. To stop the dog pulling the bottom tray out to eat fallen peanuts! It has done the job for all three requirements! I’m happy, even if the baby and the animals are disappointed haha. Good quality, thick plastic. The ones on the chicken coop are great too!
