Chickens roaming in a fenced off area. A simple way to keep your chickens in one area of the yard.

The dark movable poultry fencing blends well among the flora and fauna of your yard, so it doesn’t stand out and it’s almost invisible from a distance. By contrast the guy ropes are hi-vis and contain a reflective strand that makes them stand out day and night to guard against any trips or accidents.

Pushing the spiked fencing pole into the ground. It is quick to set up the fencing by pushing the poles in with your foot.

This handy chicken fencing comes in a roll and is very easy to put up and move about. It will save you so much time compared to a traditional post and chicken wire solution. All poles have two spikes that provide great stability and make it easy to 'tread' them into the ground. The netting is designed to be tangle-free and peck proof for added security and durability, meaning that it is easier to use and more secure than ever.

Man operating the Omlet chicken fencing gate. The handy gate gives you quick access to your chickens.

Omlet’s flexible chicken fencing comes with an inbuilt gate which features a newly redesigned catch that is stronger and more comfortable to use. You can also set the width of the gate opening to your preferred size making it easy to get in and out to feed your chickens. Another great feature of the gate is that you can position it wherever you want within the layout you have chosen, you can put it at any end, the middle or anywhere else. The width of the gate opening can also be adjusted to suit.

Suits Any Shape or Sized Garden

Omlet's poultry netting is available in 4 different sized rolls to suit the needs your chickens' needs and the size of your backyard. You can also make any shape of chicken enclosure you like, rather than just squares or rectangles.

Man operating the Omlet chicken fencing gate. Reflective guy ropes provide high visibility when needed.

The chicken fencing is now easy to spot at night and on gloomy evenings thanks to some new reflective features. Not only are the guy ropes reflective but the gate now also features a reflective badge so you can find it easily in the dark. This is really handy in winter when you might be popping out to check on your hens at dusk.

The dimensions of Omlet chicken fencing. Omlet's chicken fencing is taller than most other fencing

With an overall height of 4.1ft - which is taller than most chicken fencing - you can be confident that even the most determined of your feathered friends won’t make a great escape! The poles of the fence are also adjustable to ensure that the netting remains tight and secure at all times.

Perfect For Smaller Poultry

This poultry fencing is also suitable for use with smaller chickens like bantams. The fencing has the same size holes from top to bottom that are approximately 2in wide.

Please note that this fencing is intended as a means of keeping your chickens in a contained area. It is not predator proof and cannot be electrified. If you are looking for a predator proof enclosure the Omlet Walk in Chicken Run is a great choice.

The fencing will arrive folded down the middle and as a result you will need to unfold it. It may have a temporary crease when first assembled but this will disappear after a short period of use.

MK2 fencing vs old style -

Initially when I received this fencing (it was my 2nd time purchasing Omlet fencing), I was disappointed because it wasn't like the old style; which in my opinion, was cuter. I also had to finagle the two together, as they were incompatible. Many months later, I have decided why the newer fencing (Mk2) is better than the old (Mk1). We've become aware of foxes and some new kits in our area. Today, nearby the fence area, I spotted fox droppings. So I began closely inspecting the perimeter of my Omlet fence line (both newer plastic & older woven cloth), I discovered 7 chewed through places on the old woven fence. None of the plastic fencing had been touched (or at least not damaged). The old woven fencing which I originally favored, will now go away, and I will be purchasing more Mk2 fencing. Also, because of the nocturnal predators which we have in the area, I do shut the Omlet coop door every night to keep my chickies safe.

5stars -

Being New to backyard chickens I needed a way to let them out of their house. The Omlet chicken fencing was a lifesaver. I'm delighted with this product. My chickens can be set up to kinda free roam for hours. Just today they spent all day cleaning out one of my flower gardens for fall. Money well spent.

Very discreet fencing and easy to set up!

The perfect fence for our chickens! -

The fence was easy to set up, I only used the instructions to confirm that I was connecting the poles correctly, it was pretty intuitive. I’ve had it up for a month now and my 13 chickens and I love it. We moved the fence a few days ago, we did not take it apart, just pulled the ground stakes out and put them back in using the guy lines to show us where the corners go so it lined up perfectly. It was a little awkward at first because it started to get a little tangled but we got it straightened out fairly easily and the move took no more than a half hour including moving their coop and all their stuff. We purchased the largest fence option and it is more than enough room for 13 chickens to graze in for a month, our grass doesn’t even look like they were there except for a few holes they dug for their dust baths. I’m very happy with this purchase

Tricky but effective -

I’ll be honest, this was tricky to erect! Husband, wife and father in law stood for quite some time completely flummoxed. I think the instructions could be clearer. Once we finally got it up, I’m very pleased with it. Made a couple of modifications. Keeps the chickens safely in, I am a little concerned that it won’t keep the foxes out, but it doesn’t claim to. Overall I think it is a little over priced, however I am pleased with it and it appears to be very well made.
