We did lots of research and are pleased with our choice. The coop is large and easily accessible to clean, the run is a great size (with 1 m extension) and easy to reach inside to change food etc. The kids can also sit inside with our 4 bantams when they are free ranging. We have used the omlet edging to go round it which fits perfectly. It was a bit tricky to put together as we got a bit confused on which way the run went on - instructions not great - but using photos helped!

We have four chickens in our Eglu and they are very happy in it. It looks great in the garden and it is extremely practical. It is very easy to empty the dropping trays every few days. Just carried out the first big clean and it is designed so well that the 'poop' cleaned off very easily and the water drains away through the drainage holes. It is easy to take apart and access for cleaning. We have a big fox population here so we also pegged down the skirt of the cage. The cage is easy to move (once you have located the additional pegs in the skirt through the now longer grass) as we have to regularly move the coop as the run gets very muddy due to our heavy clay soil. Still trying to deal with that issue in the best way, but that isn't a reflection on the Eglu itself. The delivery and assembly by Omlet was first rate and I'm glad I didn't have to assemble it myself as it would have taken at least half a day plus the usual bickering that accompanies self assembly items! Just as an aside, I hadn't realised how relaxing watch chickens is. I now spend longer relaxing in the garden then I ever did just watching them and listening to their contented clucks.

Have had the cube for exactly a month today and have found it great. Very easy to clean and collect eggs.

Easy to clean but despite the wheels difficult to move with the run attached.

I've had the cube a while now and it is pretty much excellent. Easy to clean and comfortable for the hens. We have 8 chickens and a cockerel and they all fit in comfortably at night. There is the occasional squabble for room during laying, but the hens soon sort themselves out. Only downside (and reason for losing half a star) is the big hole in the laying area. Good for cleaning, but a pain in the neck for bedding which disappears through it like water down a plug hole. Some sort of fitted plug would be really useful, Omlet. I have stuffed newspaper in hours! Overall, I would defintely recommend the Cube.

This chicken house is superb, exactly what we wanted as we upgraded from a cheaper wooden structure. The Installation instructions were very easy to follow, it took two of us 3 hours to complete. The 5 hens we have settled into their new accommodation instantly and there was no loss of egg production! The layout of the house makes it easy to clean (with the wooden house we had persistent problems with red spider mites). The only downside was the attitude of the Parcel force delivery driver, there was slight superficial damage seemingly due to malhandling. Overall its been an excellent purchase well worth every penny, many thanks!

We have 4 ex batts (and 2 more joining soon) and this is just about the right size fo them. I wouldn't have more that this living there. I collected from the Omlet Warehouse and the staff were really helpful and loaded my car for me. I managed to get it all unloaded and started to assemble it myself but to be honest, it's a 2 person job. Some of the instructions are a bit vague (when adding on the run extension, it's not clear whether the support bar goes inside or out...it's inside and really fiddly to do) Having said that, it was up fairly quickly and we've since added some Omlet fencing to give the hens a bit more space to roam around in. It's so easy to clean, takes me about 20 minutes for a full clean and change of bedding. The only thing the hens just can't get the hang of is the ladder. We've resorted to a gravel board as their access to the house. It's just too far off the ground for them to make the jump. Anyway, thanks Omlet...brilliant stuff and i have to confess a bit addicted to your products now!

Just assembled our new cube house. Took me much longer than the two hours stated. You can tell it's a quality product and very sturdy. It's quite simplistic design should see it lasting a good many years before any problems arise. The cube house is not much good without at least one possibly two extensions which boosts the price up that much, that this house is fantastic for the chickens but it is very difficult to justify the total cost. Saying that you know the price before you buy and what you get is probably the best chicken house you can buy.

Give yourself time to put together as its not easy, but once done well worth it. Our chickens took to it right away after being in a wood coop. The ladder could almost do with another rung but put a log under it and no problems. We got an extra extension which although not cheap for the cube makes a big difference to the room for chickens and overall look. Would recommend.
