Frequently Asked Questions
How many boxes will my Eglu Pro arrive in, and how long will it take to build?
It comes in five boxes, labelled A to E, to be built in alphabetical order. The run and wheels come in additional boxes. Our ‘How to build’ videos will guide you through. It’s a big coop and may take some time, so invite your friends out and order pizzas in. The result is well worth it!
Why can't I select wheels for my Eglu Pro without a run?
Due to its size, the Eglu Pro could topple if on wheels without the counterbalance of a run. Therefore, we can only supply wheels if you select a run attached to your coop.
Will the Eglu Pro attach to the Walk-In Run?
Are the nest box partitions removable, and can an Autodoor be used to close the doors?
The nest boxes are always divided into three, and need to be closed manually.
Do your single perch wooden roosting bars fit the Eglu Pro?
Our 6ft Perch fits across the Eglu Pro 9ft Run at a diagonal.
Are the wall panels of the Eglu Pro the same as the Eglu Cube Mk2, or like the Eglu Go Up, and is the coop insulated for cold weather?
The Eglu Pro wall panels are the same as the Eglu Cube, with dual panels to trap air and insulate the coop, making it suitable for year round use.
Can I buy the new ladder separately for use with my existing Eglu Cube?

GOOD TO KNOW
When setting up your Eglu Pro, allow 3ft of space at the back of the house so you can slide the droppings and nesting trays out easily and 2.5ft at the front of the run so you can open the run door.
Please note:
You should not add wheels to the Eglu Pro without a run.
The Eggport door is not load bearing, and should not be leaned on.
The Eglu Pro run dimensions include 3ft of space below the coop.

Eglu Pro® - Extra Large Chicken Coop with Runs
Everything is very well made and good quality
First impressions were that everything is very well made and good quality. The build process was easy to follow with great instructions and everything was clearly labelled for assembly. The coop is on legs with a small entry ladder to the inside space and an area beneath which the hens can also use. The Eglu Pro is definitely looks as though it is designed to last a lifetime; solid in structure and made from plastic so it doesn’t require painting or treatment to prevent rotting / weather damage. The features I am really impressed with are the pull out trays below the roosting area, which make it very quick and easy to clean out the hens. The large lift off door and removable panels where the hens roost also make it a really straightforward cleaning process, because everything lifts out. Underneath the coop is a wire section which the hens use all the time during the day to shelter if the weather is bad! It’s not a huge coop in terms of the amount of room it takes up in my garden but it has loads of interior space for the hens and it is working really well for me in conjunction with the walk in run.

What an upgrade!!
WOW!! I'm in love. I have the Omlet Eglu Cube, and I didn't NEED a new chicken coop, because after 5 years the Eglu is still in perfect condition. However I have been waiting for the day to add more chickens, so I knew I had to get the Pro as soon as I saw it. Omlet listens to its customers and the upgrades are amazing! The nesting boxes are so nice with a hinged door, a stronger frame around the entrance, and easy access underneath the chicken coop, and I'm excited about all the possibilities for extras. The coop itself has a window, a spot for their auto door (also a 5-star product) a camera, and a fan. I can't recommend this product enough. It is above and beyond what I expected! Worth every penny because it'll last you a lifetime.

Game Changer
The Eglu Pro is so much better for us. We use to have 2 x Eglu Cube Mk 2 as we have 13 girls. However 12 would all go into 1 Cube and 1 in the other - so we had to move them every night. Now they all go into the Pro with plenty of space. The addition to the individual laying areas is great. The Pro is easy to clean, sturdy, well insulated and has adjustable air vents. The auto door is a must.
