I recently bought a 2m clear cover for my Eglu Cube. It is easy to put on and gives excellent coverage and rain protection for my girls. I'm very happy with it.

I started my flock from week old chicks back in May. I had been eying the Eglu Cube online, but was hesitant due to cost. I purchased a small henhouse with run from my local feed store, which looked cute seemed fine at first. I also purchased a larger run from Amazon and enclosed the coop within it. As soon as the weather warmed up, I discovered that I had a serious mite issue that was preventing my birds from thriving. The coop and run were covered in the tiny buggers! The entire situation was so disheartening. I'm still kicking myself for not purchasing the Eglu first, since the money I spent for the filthy coop and run combined, plus treatment costs were far more. I have been unable to get rid of the mites in spite of alternating elector psp and permethrin. the wooden coop with tarred roof just has too many hiding places, the tray is so heavy and the entire set up is really difficult to clean. I received my Eglu over the weekend. I was able to put it together myself with ease since the written instructions were the best I've ever seen! The online videos were also helpful. Having the ability to clean and sanitize or open their coop door without sticking my head into a box full of mites is a total relief! At first I thought the Eglu & 9ft run might be too small for my flock of 6 medium & large sized birds, but this couldn't be further from the truth. The girls were so excited and played in the run all day, non stop. I've never seen them so active! They are obsessed over the pecking toy, and the food and water dishes seem to delight them as well. They have so much more room to roost as they are no longer all crammed onto one roosting bar and have room to move about and be comfortable in the cube. I've seen reviews online where people say the chickens have trouble with the roosting bars and ladder, but mine seemed to take to them immediately without slipping. They each found their comfy spot and settled down much more quickly then in the old coop. I cannot express enough how thrilled I am with the quality of this product! Knowing this, I will soon be investing in the walk-in run to add a play area with the pole tree perches, and the automatic door as well. The fact that the perches are made from eucalyptus wood to repel mites just confirms how much thought is being put into design! These products are definitely made for people who love and care about their pet's health and happiness, and are willing to invest in the very best. Bravo Omlet!

It was easy to put together. A bit harder to put on my pre-fab coop, but that was more of an issue with the coop, not the door. It was super easy to set up and it works great. I would skip the light. If your girls are already going in the coop on their own at night, they don't need to the light. Definitely a life saver, now we can sleep in, forget, or go away for a couple of days without worrying about paying someone to open a door in the morning and evening. My only caution with this would be if you have big chickens or ducks, the opening is VERY small. It's fine for my EEs and green/olive eggers, but if you have large chickens or ducks, they may not want to squeeze in this small opening. It's about 55% as big as the defender coop door.

Comfy, easy to vacuum, good colour reproduction online vs what arrived. We needed a bed that our dog would choose over our bed????. This has worked. She is near us and happy but in her own space. She can snuggle her muzzle under the bolster, stretch out or lie like a stranded beetle resting against the bolster. Very happy. So happy I can’t remember what I paid - but it is worth every penny. PS. She hasn’t tried to chew the bed either.... result.

This cage is stunning. Makes a beautiful addition to the home decor. The packaging it comes in makes setup quite straight forward. Once you’ve got the base layer down it is an absolute breeze to assemble. The stand is strong and sturdy. My two budgies are loving their new cage, plenty of room to play and fly. The no-mess feeder is great and keeps outside of cage mess to a minimum. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this for my daughter's rabbits and it is so sturdy

I bought this as I was unexpectedly getting two new bunnies and I already had two in my walk in Omlet run. I needed to keep the pairs separate but wanted something as big as possible for two rabbits. I used it for a week for this purpose, then one of my other rabbits had to spend time at the vets and recuperating indoors. I decided to split my big run for the others and then let my little one in the Eglu once he was a little better. Now everybody is in the big run and the Eglu is kind of obsolete at the moment. I will definitely use the hutch in the winter and work out where the run works best. The four metres and hutch is long and is murder to clean out unless you like tunnelling on your elbows! I want to buy a second door but they're out of stock. We'll, they're not really out of stock because they're available with the runs as a package. And I don't feel confident cutting a section out to apply the self fit door. At some point I'll probably run a tunnel from the Omlet to the Eglu run and use it as an extension or a spare. For everyday use and cleaning it's just too low unless you buy extra doors for access. I would opt for the walk in run every time. Can't fault that.

I love the design of the cage and it fits in beautifully with the rest of our home. My biggest problem is that it doesn't have the metal fencing at the floor of the cage, as other generic cages do, to keep the birds from constantly stepping in their own poop. Even if I stayed home from work and cleaned the floor of the cage every hour, it would still have poop in it (I have 2 birds). My birds step in it and sometimes even try to eat their poop - really bad for my baby lovebird. If Omlet came out with an add on to place at the bottom creating a barrier between the floor and where birds walk, I would DEFINITELY buy it and have no complaints. I see some people fill their cages with sand, but even then I'd imagine it gets full of poop extremely often. I hope that Omlet's design team sees this review and comes out with a bottom piece, as I've seen them be very interactive with commenters!

This is the second I have bought. We are using one for the water and one for the feed pallets for our rabbits. So much cleaner than what they had, and they can’t pick up any bowls and throw them around anymore – – not so fun for them, but good for us! We are using those with the frame that we purchased separately as well. The items are heavy duty And solid.

Our cat is always snuggled up on one of these! she's obsessed!
