I broght this last week and we are really happy with the results, not my chickens have an extra run to scratch around in.

After a visit from a fox (took three chickens) I decided to take the plunge. I bought a total of 6m by 3m by 2m run to attach to my eglu cube. I was delighted when it arrived the following day (all 18 boxes!). Having watched the video I found it easy to erect. For those concerned I am 68, female and 4ft 10ins tall and assembled the run on my own. To make it more difficult I decided to enclose an apple tree within the run to provide shade for the chicks. I am absolutely delighted with the result. It is so safe for the chicks but so accessible for me. Not cheap, but we'll worth the outlay.

The best thing we have bought for our 4 siamese kitties, they are literally out there all day!! As soon as they wake up in the morning, they run for the back porch and scream until we take them out!!

.....but the instructions are horrible. May I suggest a rewrite (redraw) by someone who has actually built the cube? I decided we could make a drinking game out of building the cube, that you would have to take a shot every time someone said "these instructions are awful/stupid/terrible". Fortunately, we never followed through on the game or we all would have been in comas. It took many hours over several evenings but we finally did it. Thank goodness I do not plan to ever take it apart . Otherwise, the finished product looks to be promising. I have wanted to get chickens again for awhile, but the idea of a st ationary coop and having it built was less than ideal. I wanted to have free range chickens but with a level of control. The cube offers me that and low maintenance. Laying chickens will be ready for occupation in about 4 weeks. Living in Wisconsin, I did add hardware cloth to the bottom of the run to keep raccoons from being able to reach through the wire and grab a chicken by the neck. Happy with my purchase when all is said and done.

I can only speak for the Geo Bird cage but it is attractive and purposeful. I looked for a special cage for a long time as my canary is displayed in the living room. Its a conversation piece and makes my beautiful bird more attractive. I simply think it is great. I look forward to the future of Omlet and what is yet to come.

I bought this nearly 2 years ago, and yes I wanted to give a true review in all seasons and conditions. Firstly its a lovely thing to look at and so easy to clean, it's easy to move around and I had a little trouble with a wheel, customer services immediately sent me not one but a new pair, no quibble. The chickens are warm inside in winter and cool in the summer. I have kept 4 large hens inside and there was good room for them. I love the fox proof (and it really is) skirt around the bottom of the run, we have had numerous fox kills here even with electric fencing but no way with this run!

Brought this to replace my wooden run after having a foxy visitor in our garden. We currently use it for our 3 guinea pigs. Was slightly irritating to put together (and we are quite handy) but once up it’s very sturdy and I can’t imagine anything similar being more fox proof. Attached securely to eglu and guinea pigs seem happy. Cover works well in the sun. Takes 2 people to move around garden. Extremely happy!

We had 3 ladies in an Eglu Classic we got to new chicks and upgraded to the cube. It’s just fantastic and the girls love it and it’s so easy to keep clean. The best thing is not a red spider mite to be seen.

I have had the hutch for about two months now, and it is fantastic for our two boars. We upgraded from an Amazon timber job and the difference is night and day. Having experienced the quality of the Omley Eglu Go Up for our chooks, this was a no brainer. Our boys are happy to run around in the enclosed area, and definitely cozy during the night inside during our close to zero temperatures we have been having here. The unit is easy to move and clean.

We purchased this 8 months ago, during the winter. I thought it was pricey, but justified it because we were going on a trip, and my ladies needed to be secured. It changed our lives. No longer have to worry about letting the girls out or putting them away for the night. Secure, dependable, and only have changed the batteries once.
