I can't say enough positive things about this coop! If you are on the fence, trust me and just buy it! I promise you will not regret it. What we love: 1) it's easy to clean, 2) it's safe and secure, 3) it's keeps one of our hens from sleeping in the nesting box. I'll start with how easy this thing is to clean, which was our biggest problem with our old wooden coop. We were constantly switching out nesting material or trying to clean poo off of wood shelves (which doesn't come clean). This coop is super simply. You simply empty the droppings tray and spray off the roosting bars. Boom, done! We live in the middle of the woods with a ton of predators. We love that we can lock the girls in the coop at night and not have to worry about them. Lastly, the partition door on the inside of the coop. We have one little hen who insists on trying to sleep in the nesting material each night. With our old coop, we would have to go out every night and remove her from the nest box and place her on the roosting bar. That gets old after a few months. lol. This coop is awesome! After we collect the eggs in the morning, we simply close the door. Our girl has no choice but to sleep where she's supposed to. We love it!

Needed a more mobile solution. I was sold this was the right way to go but not my hubby. After two weeks, he has forgotten all about the price and loves it. We do need to add one more run. Also the assembly instructions were contradicting and a real pain.

We bought and fitted the first extra door about 5 weeks ago but have yet to fit the second one purchased . An ideal method of accessing the hens to feed, water or just physically move them, without compromising the inherent security afforded by the Omlet base. Not difficult to fit and well designed and easy to operate

Very happy with this cage, it’s very well designed and easy to clean. It looks like a modern furniture piece. I was in 2 minds about spending more than the generic cages but I’m very glad I did. The customer service was excellent! I needed it quickly and after making a call to enquire where it was, it was delivered the next morning.

Only took 2 hours to build the 2m x 3m walk in run on the hottest day in the UK ever.... my 2 little silkies are very pleased I did ???? - quick delivery, great comms throughout, and feels very safe for my girls - and that's the most important thing ????

Absolutely brilliant for our indoor rabbits - we bought 2 of these houses looking for a light weight, rabbit-user-friendly and easy to clean replacement for their home made box homes and they moved in very quickly. We love the quality - they are worth every cent...if only we'd discovered OMLET earlier!

I broght this last week and we are really happy with the results, not my chickens have an extra run to scratch around in.

After a visit from a fox (took three chickens) I decided to take the plunge. I bought a total of 6m by 3m by 2m run to attach to my eglu cube. I was delighted when it arrived the following day (all 18 boxes!). Having watched the video I found it easy to erect. For those concerned I am 68, female and 4ft 10ins tall and assembled the run on my own. To make it more difficult I decided to enclose an apple tree within the run to provide shade for the chicks. I am absolutely delighted with the result. It is so safe for the chicks but so accessible for me. Not cheap, but we'll worth the outlay.

The best thing we have bought for our 4 siamese kitties, they are literally out there all day!! As soon as they wake up in the morning, they run for the back porch and scream until we take them out!!

.....but the instructions are horrible. May I suggest a rewrite (redraw) by someone who has actually built the cube? I decided we could make a drinking game out of building the cube, that you would have to take a shot every time someone said "these instructions are awful/stupid/terrible". Fortunately, we never followed through on the game or we all would have been in comas. It took many hours over several evenings but we finally did it. Thank goodness I do not plan to ever take it apart . Otherwise, the finished product looks to be promising. I have wanted to get chickens again for awhile, but the idea of a st ationary coop and having it built was less than ideal. I wanted to have free range chickens but with a level of control. The cube offers me that and low maintenance. Laying chickens will be ready for occupation in about 4 weeks. Living in Wisconsin, I did add hardware cloth to the bottom of the run to keep raccoons from being able to reach through the wire and grab a chicken by the neck. Happy with my purchase when all is said and done.
