Fence arrived quickly, was a bit fiddly to put together but not too bad. However, when we watched the YouTube demonstration it said to space the poles 70cm apart. We only had enough in the kit to space them 2 metres apart. According to instruction booklet that was correct number for our kit, so it’s not like we’re missing any, there just aren’t enough. It means that the fence sags between the poles and doesn’t seem nearly as secure - even after adding the guy ropes. But disappointed after the price we paid for it.

I bought this product after having had a fox attack, very easy to install and has worked brilliantly ever since. my ladies are all tucked up nice and safe before I get home from work.

My cat loves this because it does not hurt her paws. I love it because it has a lovely pine odour.

Just finished setting it up. In fact, even before I finished screwing everything together, the chooks were already using it. I like the longer perches because most of my girls like to roost in pairs.

Overall, this product is fantastic. Last year I lost all my flock to a fox due to a nonsecure run so this year I made the investment for this run. Great build quality and with the addition of the ground screws it will be the Fort Knox of chicken runs. MY ONLY COMPLAINT- the directions were terrible. If you aren't intuitive with directions, you will have a hard time. It needed more detailed step-by-step directions with pictures. Other than that, we are very happy with our purchase!

Easy to assemble and looks robust enough to cope with four bantams! They are a bit unsure at present, but took to the perching pole readily so am sure this will be popular.

I started keeping hens about 10 years ago, and as I love working with wood I built a lovely coop for my flock. However, as time went on i began to have issues with redmite, and this has become a constant battle. My wooden coop, although lovely to look at, was actually a haven for mites.... the shiplap timber etc gave them so many places to hide, and of course it was a nightmare to keep clean. I recently decided enough was enough and decided to take the plunge and buy and eglu go up. On arrival, unpacking the plastic parts from the boxes if im honest i wondered if i had done the right thing... however, set up was easy and once it was assembled and the hens were safely tucked up in bed i realized what a great bit of kit it is! I cant believe Ive struggled to keep a wooden coop clean all these years.... the eglu is so easy! Have to say within the space of a few days im totally sold, and only wish Id bought one years ago. The old wooden coop is going on the bonfire!
