I have had all sorts of coops over many years, from converted sideboards to bespoke built wooden houses, none are a patch on Omlet. Again I have owned every single coop they have made, an eglu classic, go, go up, two mark one cubes and final a new mark 2 cube, the best of all in my opinion. I love the excellent build quality, the fact it is so easy to clean, the design knowledge the sliding door in the nest box is a great feature. The only niggle I have is I wish the poo tray would fit more easily into my wheely bin. I am toying with the idea of a walk in run, the only thing I haven’t had, just not too sure it offers enough weather protection using just covers compared to wooden walk ins….

I've literally just bought these, having thought about getting them for ages... My advice - don't wait, just buy them - they make moving the run around so much easier. They should come as standard with the housing to save backs! My only criticism is that the wing nut screws could have been a little longer in length to make the task a little easier, but clever DIY hubby managed it.

I purchased the run and egloo and my rabbits have been living in it for a few weeks now. I felt bad because they were house rabbits but they were literally eating us out of our home. I am so pleased I took the plunge as they seem so happy in their new home.

This coop exceeds my expectations! Building was easy and actually enjoyable, especially compared to other coops I've built and it is very durable. Customer service was exceptional and very quick to respond.

Excellent product well made bought it for my cats shipped fast, took 3 people to assemble I would definitely buy again from this website.

Poles do not keep the fencing tight, called customer service and never received a call back. And my chickens fly right over it. Way too much money for a sub par product.

On the whole I love this product. It was easy to construct, looks good and is a good size for our two mini lops. The add on tunnel is great so they can pop between their hutch and run easily and securely. The only problem I’ve encountered is that the underfloor mesh is too big. Within a few hours the rabbits had dug a hole and almost escaped. The underfloor mesh is larger then the mesh in the walls and roof of the run. Omlet customer service response was to use chicken mesh under the run to discourage the digging, but then what is the point of having underfloor mesh in the first place? I ended up purchasing some 50x50mm mesh from bunnings and replaced the underfloor mesh. Fixed the problem but at an extra cost. Overall I love the run but the underfloor mesh needs to be redesigned for 360 degree security for the rabbits.

The Eglu Cube is well designed for easy use and cleaning, although for first-timers it takes much longer to put together than suggested in the instructions. We got this to keep our six rescue chickens away from wild birds during the avian flu outbreak and they took to it straight away. The extended run was much smaller than they are used to, so it is now connected to a fully netted secure run, using the Eglu fencing and bird netting. Linking would have been easier if there was another way of opening the mesh around the Cube, but when things are back to normal it will stay inside the run and that won't be a problem. It all survived the storms, using all the guy ropes supplied for the fencing. The hens are doing a great job scarifying my dreadful lawn, which will be re-seeded in the spring. Squirrels have managed to break in, but the girls soon see them off.

This thing was impossible to put together with the clips that come with it, it doesn’t help that the instructions offer little, if any, actual instruction. After an hour trying to attach 1 set of clips, I almost threw out the entire thing. Thankfully, I’m handy and went to Home Depot for pipe claps (the metal fasteners that screw together to get tighter). Once I had those, putting it together was a breeze!

Good idea for rabbits. However, for small animals and birds, would be better to join two solid runs without an Omlet connector, and wind a string round the toothed part of the door frame to which the connector normally attaches, as any holes or gaps are likely to trap small feet, heads or necks. You can still use the door frame and door kit to section off for easy cleaning. Some animals would prefer a transparent connector as they are afraid of dark, enclosed spaces.
