I bought this product after a lot of thought as they’re not cheap. I love the product, easy to clean, chickens are secure and love it. However the instructions are not as I’d expect. The brochures are glossy and there’s so many of them! And of course there are the videos. It is too much information but with no cohesive set of rules about how to build. I think the instructions really let the product down. Eventually I watched videos and used one of the many instruction books I had. I think they are trying to cover too many bases and languages and as a result lost me. Anyway, I love the product and as you can say, hate the instructions. I have heard from company that they are reviewing and condensing instructions so that’s good news.

When I decided to get chickens - I came straight to omlet - love the walk in run, easy to assemble, and extend when needed. My birds are happy - can easily be built by one person but two def helps.

I bought this as soon as it became available on the US site, I have been looking at them on the UK site for some time, the design feature was easier to use on the UK - I actually gave up trying to create my own using the US option and I just bought this ready designed - not disappointed at all - easy to put together, arrived quickly and the chucks love it. I will def be expanding on my pole tree in the future. I just wish Omlet made extra nest boxes that could be attached to the Walk in run - I often have a Q waiting for the nest box in mu eglu. 100% would recommend - I also like that it adds extra support to the roof for those times in winter when we have snow, Buy it now before it goes out of stock.

We've now had the Omlet Catio 2 weeks and my girls Stevie and Esmè absolutely love this. From a human perspective we found the assembly instructions confusing but the videos were far clearer to understand. Assembly wise its a 2 person job especially the roof and when screwing the platforms into place. For someone with some flatpack skill it's not a difficult build. I'm very pleased with the outcome because it looks good in the garden and not ugly. I've ordered some more extras for it now. It's expensive but I'm not regretting it and I'm pleased my girls can safely play out

The windbreak is a must-have. When the weather is rough--whether rainy, snowy, windy, or icy--the windbreak provides a safe space for the chickens to huddle. I couldn't recommend it more highly. A lot of Omlet's products are nice to have; this is essential if you live in a cold or windy climate.

These covers are worth every penny. They provide essential coverage to the walk-in run so that your chickens can use the space during the cold, rainy, and snowy/icy months.

The run porch gives another layer of protection and security for your chickens, especially if they don't free range and you're worried about one zooming out when you open the door.

The walk-in run has been the best-ever Omlet purchase/investment. I live in New England where we get snow and icy conditions for many months out of the year. The walk-in run provides a safe space for the chickens to roam during the months when the coops are stuck in place because they're frozen into the ground or snow prevents you from moving the coop around. I bought the largest size walk-in run available (9ft x 13ft x 6ft) and have never regretted it. I bought Omlet's heavy duty tarps that provide cover over the run panels. This allows for my chickens to have plenty of room while not having to trudge through snow and ice. I cover the ground in the run with straw that I get in bales from the local Agway store. Living in a place that gets a lot of snow, I did buy the Eversprout Never-Scratch SnowBuster roof rake on Amazon to clear the snow from the tarp panels. It works great for those storms with heavy snow.

The tarp is rugged and provides much-needed protection from the elements.

My girls love their catio, the platforms are large and secure with lovely easy to remove pads, the bridge, I think, adds to the rigidity so would recommend getting one! Don’t bother with the pads on the steps and make sure you check the rope, mine doesn’t fit my structure but was all in the same section when purchasing!
