Extremely well designed and very well thought out. Easy construction Easy to clean out and the chickens seem to like it
After a huge infestation of mites in our 15 year old wooden chicken coup we urgently needed new accommodation for our 6 hens. (The old coup had to be burnt and the whole chicken pen area and chopped bark litter cleaned out) We did not want a wooden coup again as they have so many places where mites etc can hide. We settled for the Eglu which although more expensive than a wooden structure seemed to be the answer to our problem. We have been using it for about 4 weeks now and cleaning out is so easy

Cute
Looks great. Functions well. Not easy to assemble, made harder by the fact that the instructions in the box for the coop are only half correct. The coop was easy enough to assemble but the run was frustrating, parts were different than the instructions. Then I discovered there is another instruction book and the one that came with the coop is only meant to be read until halfway, then you're meant to swap to the other instruction book. But there is no note or anything to tell you to stop using the instruction booklet.
The screws and other hardware were just loose in the box, so there were some minor scratches by the time the box arrived also

Love it - and so do the 'girls.
Purchased about six weeks ago for our small flock of six.
Took 'the man of the house' nearly two days to build with it all laid out in a methodical order on the front lawn. For us, that was the only downside that it didn't appear to be as simple to build as we had expected. Maybe that was us though - who knows.
The actual roost/cube is fantastic - so easy to clean and makes life so much more simpler and hygienic.
Really excellent quality, sturdy, weatherproof, rodent and predator proof - love it.
Any cons? So the price may seem steep compared to 'traditional wooden coops' that we had considered, but well worth the extra money for the reassurance of being predator proof, no annual maintenance that you get with wood and less chance of infections/chicken nasties that you get with wood.
Looking to purchase the automatic door opener/closer once we have saved up - looking forward to winter lie-ins and the girls can get up early on their own!

Better instructions needed
I think this needs to be better thought out. Maybe numbers on the pole pieces would help. It's confusing to work out what bit is what. The poles are fiddly to install and it takes a good bit of time to get them all in the right place and try to get the fencing taught. The actually fencing takes a while to rest and be flat, it has a big crease in it because of the way it's packaged but it does go flat. This could be better if the instructions were clearer and the poles clearly labelled. It's ok but not what I thought. I did find a you tube video that helped a little, but the pole pieces definatly need numbers on and I know it's for packaging but it would have really helped if the black fencing hadn't been folded in half as well as rolled up

Instructions
The written instructions were not clear at all. Too many if you bought product A go to step B etc. Also, the instruction manuals that came with the various sections were missing pages. They would be blank—going from page 56 to page 60 with just blank pages leaving steps out in between. It took me and my husband nearly 7 hours to put it together. I am sure it is a fine product, but by the time we finished we were too irritated, frustrated, and tired to put the chickens in. That part will have to wait until next week as we took our only day off to put it together.

The best chicken door available. Well designed and well built.
I hesitated to buy this chicken coop door because it's made out of plastic however it feels like very heavy construction and I think it will last a long time. I'd prefer it if the door opened a bit wider than the current 8 inches but it's enough for my 6 pound chickens so that's OK. The programing of the controller is excellent, obviously done by someone with intelligence and experience that actually uses this product. My only complaint is the large 102 page instruction booklet that comes with the chicken door. Even with 102 pages I still had to go online to watch the videos to figure out how how to program the door and operate the optional coop light. Thanks for the great product.

Best cafe we’ve ever had
This is truly a beautiful and well-thought out cage that makes it feel less like parakeets are living in a dark, prison-like container and more like they have their own airy loft condo. I appreciate the use of more natural materials like the wood stand, and the geodesic design of the cage has its advantages. The first time we tried changing the cage liner, our parakeet did escape, and I realized this could be prevented by doing the process more slowly, like the part where you’re lifting the cage away from the bottom. We haven’t had issues since, especially since our bird is used to it now. I do appreciate how you can separate the bottom from the cage because it makes it so much easier to keep the cage clean, and since it’s plastic it’s easy to rinse off without worrying it’ll rust. The only thing that needs improvement is the seed dispenser. My parakeets have some trouble getting more seeds out when their seed cups start getting low, and I think this could be solved by making the seed dispenser easier for the seeds to flow out, and maybe the seed cups a little wider. The other thing is that the liners are super expensive at 10 for over $6, so maybe they could find a way to reduce the cost for the consumers. Otherwise, I will be cutting my own. Other than that, we really, really love this cage and are happy we found it!

Looks great
I was very pleased with the way this flat pack litter box went together and how it looks. However I am having great difficulty persuading my cats to use it. They are 16 and perhaps not very open yto new ideas but I would welcome advice.
