I'd been eyeing the Eglu Cube for nearly a year before I finally ordered it. It is exactly as advertised and works beautifully. I was able to assemble the coop by myself, but it certainly would have been easier with two people, as recommended. It took me about 7 hours to assemble it, but part of that time was me having to go back and forth between the garage and back yard because it was raining and I wanted to do parts of the organization and assembly inside. Now that it's put together it's very sturdy but still easy to move (with the wheels). I also purchased the automatic door which didn't need any adjustment to start opening and closing properly with the light sensor the first day. I thought I would need to do some set-up on it, but then looked outside after dark and realized it was already working. I left the coop in the yard for a week for the ladies to become accustomed to it before having them start sleeping in there. I put fruit and other treats inside the run area and on the steps to encourage them to check it out. One of my chickens discovered the new nesting box on Day 2 and has been laying in it ever since. She was the only one who made it inside on the first night the old coop was locked (I picked up and moved the others that night). It only took two more nights before all four of my ladies were happily going into the new coop then being automatically closed in shortly after sundown. Very happy with the purchase!

Always sceptical about reviews. But this is our opinion re the fencing. Delivery was good and well packaged. Surprisingly small but all intact. Perhaps some photos of gardens other than manicured examples may be useful. We found the erecting fiddly with more posts supplied beneficial. The posts themselves are very trying to adjust the length. The pegs are quite effective but the end result is not particularly robust looking. It is not a structure that we will looking to be portable. However on day to day basis it allows our girls freedom outside the run and compliments free range in the garden generally. Despite the misgivings we are happy with the way it is working . Perhaps our expectations were a little unreasonable.

We've had the coop for a few months and our overall happy with it. My only concern is that I am not sure that the doors are raccoon proof or toddler proof. It would be wonderful if Omlet could create a lock like they did with the smaller Eglu that we could add. This morning I looked out to see that the back door was on the ground. It turns out my child had opened it and not secured it properly. I was worried that a raccoon had gotten in. We live in an area with a lot of raccoon, skunk and hawk activity. The Eglu Cube seems very solid and the run seems predator proof. The door latches are my only concern. Cleaning the coop has been very easy. It is very durable and I like that it is plastic and coated metal. I don't need to worry about the sprinklers hitting it and causing rot or rust.

1) the use of separate wheels makes the coop unstable and hard to operate. Wheels need to operated by a single bar. 2) no handles to move the coop makes it very difficult to move at all. 3) wheels are too thin and sink into wet ground. 4) skirt simply does not work as grass rapidly grows between the mesh and makes it impossible to lift coop off the ground. We discarded ours. 5) housing is excellent and is easy to clean. Handle to door is very good and efficient.

This is a great product. I no longer have to get up early to let the girls out.

It has been really helpful over the summer to keep our guinea pigs outside. But now we realized that there are mice in the cage. It should have smaller gaps in the wiring to keep mice out.

I was surprised, but my budgie actually uses the bath. I put warm water in her cage every 2-3 weeks and she gets all excited. Its a great little accessory. Please do some more. Maybe some small branch like perches that can screw onto the cage?

Super cute cover, fits the cage perfectly and looks way better than a towel. I highly recommend this. I use it start side out. I also think it might keep the bird a bit more insulated than a standard towel or sheet.

It's been a month, and I along with the budgie and so happy with the product. It took some time putting it together, but the cage is fantastic. Great quality, east to change the bottom paper, and with he food in the center there is less mess. Also the width gives my bird plenty of room to move and climb. She seems to be very content. best of all the cage looks like its mid-century modern, I just love it. Please let me know if you ever come out with a black bottom, that would be next level.

I've had the Omlet Auto Door for a month and I love it. I use the light feature for the setting. It was easy to put together and install. I highly recommend this product. The wait was a little long to receive it once ordered but it was worth the wait.
