After 3 years of wanting an Eglu cube we were finally in our new home and ready to order. We placed the order on March 22nd 2020 for the Cube and accessories, just as Covid19 lockdown hit Australia. From the Australian website we understood the product was actually in Australia but this was not the case. After much confusion and many emails we learnt that the products we ordered were not in the country! We waited 3 months and our order arrived on our doorstep Mid June 2020. We put everything together over a weekend and the next weekend bought our 3 x Hyline Brown chickens. Besides waiting for the Coop to arrive, it has been a wonderful experience owning the Cube. The chickens learnt very quickly where 'home' is and adjusted to the automatic door immediately. Cleaning the Cube is so easy , the chickens have learnt where to lay the eggs in the nesting box and overall we are exceedingly happy with this fantastic product.

After spending much time researching the many different catios on the market, I am satisfied with my decision to go with this Omelet product. The 6 x 6 x 6 catio is a good size for the small patio slab outside the back door of my apartment. Assembly was not simple, and I had to refer to the video every step of the way. The printed instructions could be better. I found the great many small plastic clips involved to be problematic, as unclipping some to move them to a different position rendered them unusable. I will need to order more of those when I move. Disassembling this and then reassembling it after a move will not be easy. I think this catio would be ideal on a nice lawn in the backyard of a house. But it's good, on the less expensive end, and I recommend it.

We bought this to give our girls access to grass. We knew that the grass in their 3x3 metre run wouldn't last their scratchy claws. It's great as an enclosed, movable area. I've added one of the wee doors to the opposite side from the walk in door in from our enclosed run so I can move the fencing from one side to the other for fresh grass. Really pleased with how easy it is to shift about. We only let them into those areas when we are in the garden as we are constantly wary of Mr Fox, but find it a great addition to our Eglu kit.

We love our Eglu cube. When I kept chickens before they were in a wooden coop. It got damp and was difficult to keep properly clean. Our Eglu cube is a good height for cleaning and the build and shape make it so easy to access. I've got dodgy knees, so wanted something that was easily accessible. Love it!

My family and I fell in love with Eglu after going for a neighborhood walk and seeing another family with an Eglu Go Up in their yard. We chatted and fell in love with it. Soon enough our Eglu setup arrived. We copied exactly what we had seen. We now have a Eglu Go Up on one side of our yard, and another Eglu Go 9’ run on the other side. Our chickens love running from one coop to their “day retreat” on the other side of the yard.

I got the full height stand with the cream and black geo cage and the bath and cover too. This cage was pleasantly bigger than I thought, it's huge which I love. I am loving the bath and cover too. My boys flew straight to the cage and were eager to get inside which was cool. I am sooo delighted they love it. It did take a while to build it and was confusing at first but once I got it I flew through it. Definitely worth the price. The liners are perfect too. Omlet really thought of everything. I don't use the feeder yet as my boys are used to the steel dish but hope to adjust them too it soon.

I added the 6 ft perch to the walk in run, very easy to put up and it does not move/twist around like a branch would. I just ordered the 3 ft perch to put lower so they have options. Great product.

A really well thought out product, made to a high specification.

I have been dreaming of such a door for years. I am too old now to crawl into the Eglu Cube run to retrieve water and food carriers crawl out, fill them crawl back in and put them back. I was nervous, and put off doing it. The doors were easy to fasten in, and now it takes me only seconds to get this onerous task completed. Hurrah!

I'd always had free-ranging hens in the past and eventually they all succumbed to Mr Fox. It was very traumatic and we didn't keep any hens for quite a few years after. This year we decided to go for it again as we really enjoyed having them about the place. We went for a 3x3x2 run which is attached to a mk2 eglu cube. It's great to have a safe space for the girls to spend time in and the height is a massive convenience for us, not having to scramble (sorry, had to get some eggs in somewhere!) about bending down to the floor. I put the run together on my own, lots of concentration and yes I studied the instructions and laid everything out on the lawn and cardboard boxes before starting. It looked daunting to begin with but I did it over two days, so it helped to get going on the second day as I knew what I was doing by then. I can't remember how long it took but it wasn't two full days, just parts of them! It's a clever bit of kit and the height gives lots of scope for branches and we have an old step ladder that Betty likes to perch on the top step. Wish we had this the first time around.
