I was looking to extend my Mk1 and when I saw the Mk2 had been released, I decided to go for it. I love the fact that the handle for the main door is now on the roof. I also love the slide door to close off the coop. Two great upgrades. However, it is much harder to clean out that the Mk1. The Roosting bars are one massive section so is much more cumbersome for cleaning. Also the roof is permanently affixed so does not slide back like the Mk1 which makes it much more difficult to clean out the house part. the drinker bowl is poorly designed, if you fill it, it sags forward due to the weight on the run bars and spills out. Just dont fill it too much as its too heavy! Being so open also means that it gets muddy easily. I will be using my old drinkers. On the whole I am pleased I chose to upgrade, but its not perfect yet.

I bought an igloo guniea pig hutch for our 3 guniea pigs thinking that it would solve all our problems. I can fault the build of the hutch however I find the access to the pigs really tricky. with the 2m run its impossible to catch them because they just run up the other end and there is no top access so you have to clamber inside. The access from the back, which very convenient for feeding, I find tricky to get at them for worry of them escaping from the opening whilst it is down. I also think it is too small for 3 gunea pigs. Although we clean it out regularly it is alway a horrible, small mess. I'm sorry but I do wish I had taken up the 30 day return offer.

If your coop in exposed like ours is, then these covers are an absolute necessity. I have ordered 4 in total; 2 x 3m clear and 2 x 3m green heavy duty. The 2 clear ones cover the run (4m x 3m x 2m) over the coop in one of the corners. We have stretched the green heavy duty ones around the outside (one top half of run and the other the bottom half) so that the coop is pretty much enclosed in the corner of the run and rarely ever gets wet when it rains. The only problem is the uneven roof due to it sloping, where a little bit does get in. But overall, we are really chuffed as all of the covers provide great shelter for dust baths, preening and overall chicken happiness!

Arrived promptly albeit missing the ladder! which was very quickly sent when I phoned Omlet (Very helpful lady at customer services) Found some difficulty inserting clips around the skirt due to the proximity to the ground, but once overcome it was quickly finished and a very pleasing outcome both practically and visually. Two very happy hens have taken residence and LOVE their new home.

We added a walk in run to our go up so our chickens could enjoy more fox proof space. It is very robust and adding the weather protection roof makes all the difference. Very good product

I was worried about plastic but it's so much cleaner than wood! The ladder is a bit steep and the steps would benefit from being wider! The laying area should be detachable because it still gets dirty even if they don't sleep in it!

I changed to a Go Up recently and have been really pleased with it. My two chickens have lots of room. It's easy to clean and keep clean. It's expensive but I'm hoping I'll have it for tens of years. There was no ladder in the box but that was sent the next day once I alerted them.

I know of no other system that can compare to Omlets Aviary. I have found some many uses for the extra mesh panels that we purchased that even keeps the dogs where we want them. The system is so simple yet does the job.

We bought our Go Up recently to replace our wooden A-frame coop. We are so happy with it. My father assembled it and the run, and it took him a few hours - glad it wasn't me! It looks fabulous, and our three chickens are happy in it. It is weatherproof, predator-proof, and so easy to clean. In our tropical Brisbane weather, we no longer have to worry about the wooden coop swelling and warping (we used to have to cover our wooden coop with plastic to cope with the torrential downpours), or about mites and lice hiding in cracks in wood. The coop is easy to move too.
