I've had the cube a while now and it is pretty much excellent. Easy to clean and comfortable for the hens. We have 8 chickens and a cockerel and they all fit in comfortably at night. There is the occasional squabble for room during laying, but the hens soon sort themselves out. Only downside (and reason for losing half a star) is the big hole in the laying area. Good for cleaning, but a pain in the neck for bedding which disappears through it like water down a plug hole. Some sort of fitted plug would be really useful, Omlet. I have stuffed newspaper in hours! Overall, I would defintely recommend the Cube.

Brilliant is sturdier than expect and the feeders fit perfectly

This is much better than the old cover I had. It's made of a really tough plastic which is easy to clean. Hopefully it won't get torn by my hens' claws when they perch on top of the run like the old one!

I have turned my Go house into Go Up. I have added the frame, ladder and run. Easy enough to assemble although I have used extra cable ties, as I have on both my cube and classic, as I don't feel the clips make the run fit together enough. I have customised the rungs on the ladder, as my girl don't like them and slip. They are used to ladders too, I have a wooden one to the Eglu and the cube on, which they zip up and down. I covered the rungs with anti slip mats I, you use under rugs, it is much much better. I have joined my Go up to a WIR run again customising the door. If you only want a couple of hens this is good, it is like a mini cube, although I would definitely add another meter extension to it.

We have just spent some of the afternoon UPgrading our Eglu Go to a Go Up. It was surprisingly straightforward for us, thanks to the fantastic instruction booklet and our remembering of how we built it first time around, and after just 90 minutes the girls were in their first floor studio apartment, checking out the view from the balcony! The wheels made manoeuvring around the lawn so much more simple, and I will now be able to do it on my own. The girls have as much room as before, but I have lost less of my garden. So we are all delighted.

Der Hühnerstall ist super!

We have had an Eglu hen house on wheels for ages and with it the run extensions. That set up has worked well but we now need more space for growing things in the garden and so the new walk in run completely fits the bill. It wasn't too hard to attach the new run and we dug a trench all round beforehand and had the whole thing set up quite quickly. We've now added some chicken enrichment to our new run - logs for the girls to perch on - which they really like, and of course they are now totally secure. With the stable type walk in door it's also easy for people to feed them without fear of a hen escape!

The good bits -The hutch itself is the easiest I have ever owned for our rabbits (and we've had a few hutches!!) Cleaning it is a doddle as was putting it together. They don't seem to have chewed it either which is a vast improvement. The bad bits - There is a small gap in the bottom corner which in the summer is fine but I imagine in the winter may prove drafty. I have already purchased the thermal liners. The run however was not so easy to put together. First off the website does not make it clear that the extended 2m run already comes with the anti-tunnel mesh wire. I had orderd this seperately so had to get a refund. Also it comes with NO instrutions to put the 2m run together (and its not as easy as you may think!!). The leaflet only shows you how to put together the 1m run. After a phonecall to Omlet I was directed to look at the Eglu Go for Chickens manual - however trying to put several pieces of wire together whilst juggling an ipad in sunlight with 2 kids & 2 dogs helping was not ideal. My fingers were very sore for a few days after clipping it all together. It's a shame that the 2m run isn't the same as the 1m run that has the anti-tunnel mesh built in. I had to really struggle to place this under the run/hutch and position it correctly and then secure with cable ties so it moves as one peice when I need to change its postion in the garden. I do think it would also be usful to have some sort of side or top access door to allow you to get the rabbits into the hutch at night. At the moment my poor 9 year old has to crawl right into the run to get them in as there is no way I could get through the door. Delivery - We had at first patyed for the hutch to be delivered & set up by Omlet but were informed that this would be a 3-4 weeks wait which wasn't acceptable. when it did arrive via courier a few of the wire panels had broken through the packaging and had been knocked. There are already as few rust pactches on the corners and also where the pin that locks the doors scrapes the loops that hold it closed. For a VERY expensice hutch I'm hoping these don't get any worse and stands the test of time. Despite the above, I wouldn't hesitate to get this hutch again and wish I'd got one earlier instead of messing around with wooden hutches.
