I am really pleased with my Eglu Cube. My rehomed battery hens love it. They settled in really quickly and started laying immediately. It is easy to clean and to collect the eggs from. My children help out as it is so straightforward. I have spent a long time wondering whether I should get chickens and having finally decided I wish I had done so ages ago.

Safe practical and easy to clean, unhappy with fit of the back panel - large gaps which I will probably have to plug with something in the winter to stop the chickens getting frost bite.

Pricey, but so easy and effective. Highly recommended and will last far longer than a wooden alternative with less maintenance!

The only reason I even considered such an expensive hen house was due to a servere red mite problem. Problem sorted from day one. Excellent. I live in the highlands of Scotland the only thing that still has me concerned is the fact that the temperature regularly drops to minus 15 and lower and there are a lot of vents on the cube I do hope my hens will be warm enough when the snows come.

Love the cube, easy to clean, moves around the garden, great, hens love it I love it, great to have in the garden and safe from mr fox.

Very easy to clean out, and fox proof so far! Just a shame we can only fit 4 chickens in the 'cube' for the price we payed. But overall, very good (and the chickens love it!)

We've had our eglu and 2 chickens for over a month now and can't believe how much we are enjoying our new pets (and lovely free range eggs)! I never knew that chickens had such great personalities...we have a shy one and a very cheeky, overly friendly one! My 3 year old daughter spends a lot of time chatting to 'the girls' and feeding them carefully scraps from the kitchen (they are fussy eaters!) The eglu is well worth investing in. It is easy to clean, looks good in the garden and I have the peace of mind that, once in the run, my chickens are safe. Another fantastic feature is the training we received on arrival and the ongoing online support (perfect for chicken novices like us!)

We do love our Eglu Go, it works really well. Our chickens love it too, but are not good housekeepers as the nesting material gets spread all over the entire floor of the Eglu, together with poos! Our ONLY grumble is the contortion necessary to fix and unfix the food and water containers. As several others have commented, we agree; it would be helpful to have roof access to the run. Otherwise absolutely perfect!

Great product. Three minor niggles.1) The door to the egg collecting area is not as easy to lock as it might be and one could think it is locked but it isn't. OK for me as I know but if someone else collects the eggs it could be left open.2) I like the wheel lifting mechanism BUT when each side is pushed down the 'lock' is a flat plate and over even a small bump the lock can slide off. I am thinking of cutting a notch each side to stop this. ( the plate could also be made at an angle in production) 3) The 'hooks' on the grub are OK but I keep finding it on the floor when it is nearly empty. Its either the hens or the sheep knocking it from the outside. Redesigned hooks, deeper? I will probably use a small bungee cord to fix it. BUT the hens love it! ( and so do I)

I've only marked this down because I bought this because the floor space would suit my small garden, all four sides you need space to get to to open/close/remove something. I do think this above all is the best coop to suit our busy family life needs and the best on the market.
