Good service but had to wait four weeks for delivery. Chickens are still alive and after three days I have an egg, which I wasn't expecting so soon. They certainly liven up the garden. The Eglu Go seems to be very practical. Whilst the chicks definitely prefer to have the run of the garden I only let them out when I am working in the garden as we are surrounded by cats and foxes. In short, great fun.

Excellent experience! From the moment I made the online purchase to the moment Mr Omlet drove away having delivered and assembled the Cube and installed my four new chickens! Easy to use, great design and more robust than our Eglu mark 2 model. Lovely chickens who didn't take more than a couple of minutes to work out how to use the water glug. A very happy customer!

All seems fine. It went together ok but the gaps are bit uneven, around the back panel. I guess the test will be if it leaks. It was put together very quickly by your delivery driver. Two of the birds seemed a bit traumatised and won't come out of the cube, and two are ok. Top marks for delivery though, it arrived on the date you promised and within the time slot.

The cube appears to be very well made and sturdy. The cleaning of dropping trays is easy. The feed and water containers work well. Four hens seem to be about right for the version without the extra run. The chickens seem happy and although we were told by the very helpful delivery man that they were younger and would be unlikely to lay for several weeks, we had our first egg within 2 hours and have had one every day since.

House and run really cracking. Grub box heavy when half full of pellets and so not easy to hook onto wire at arms length inside run. If the D shaped upper end panel were hinged this would really help access - particularly for nervous chicken sitting neighbours. Chickens have trodden in the water a couple of times, unhooked and tipped it up - a worry if we are away for day or overnight. Psycho Yoko the Gingernut Ranger tried to kill Miss Pepperpot at first so divided run with canes through bars horizontally and cardboard box for roosting, but they've been fine since free ranging most of day from day 2 (waiting till day 5 would have left us with only one chicken!). Overall, eggcellent!

Excellent service - a very, very, very nice man brought the cube and Martha and the Vandellas (sorry chickens) this a.m. It was a joy to see how convenient the plastic cube was in comparison to our old wooden hen house. Cleaning appears to be a doddle. I will probably be buying the extra run later for my girls. I originally thought it a bit expensive - but after seeing the design and engineering that had gone into the making - it makes it easier to see why so pricey!

Omlet man arrived at 10 o'clock, took about an hour to put together cube, very good advice on how to look after and handle the new chickens. Enid and Ethel settled in straight away and at one o'clock Enid laid an egg! Just perfect.

I give the Eglu Go 4/5 for these reasons: The house is easy to look after with easy access to the inside. It is easy to clean the removable tray but to hose down the inside is not so easy due to the fact that the run is attached and thus it is not easy to move the whole thing. The husband had a 'Go' at removing the run yesterday and it became an Eglu Groan. We put it back together, never to repeat the process. This product would be better with a rectangular run instead of the flared run and if it clipped on to the front of the house. Other than this we are happy with our first chicken keeping product. The chickens are great fun to watch and the suspense over the 'is there/isn't there an egg today' is fun too. One sensible bird (June) who has laid 5 days out of 6 and one batty bird (Eileen) who seems a bit bemused by life.

I am delighted with my cube, run and chickens and the delivery guy was fantastic. Now that I've had the setup for a few days I would like to offer feedback. My garden is not large but I wanted the cube as I have arthritis and access to the cube is user friendly. THE CUBE one needs access to all sides of the cube - would it be possible at your next re design to have the pop hole opener on the same side as the egg collection lid- I could then move my cube further over. ( could the droppings boards also be sited this way??) THE RUN I would be prepared to pay for the option of a tall walk in run as I cannot crouch down (arthritic knees) Also because of limited garden space I would like the option of having the gate sited on the same side as egg port. please don't think i am being overly critical as i love my Eglu and your support staff haver been fantasic
