Great that our girls are now fox proof BUT given the cost of the Cube, it ought to be perfect by now. To my mind there are 4 main design faults: 1. No internal night perch - why ever not? Our girls end up sleeping in the nesting box which means that the eggs and they get covered in poo - not good 2. Not enough steps on the ladder - it must be easy to add one more, surely? 3. An external day perch would be excellent at the back of the run underneath the coup to ensure they could perch somewhere when locked in the run. This would give them a bit of comfort when the ground is wet. 4. The grub is great but the glug doesn't provide them with water quickly enough especially when the weather has been but. I've ended up abandoning it and hooking a water container up instead. Overall, great for peace of mind from a safety point of view but still lots of improvements to be made on the design front.

The eglu go is great and I love having my chickens.

I love the idea of the cube, it looks great, it is fantastic and easy to clean, and easy to access the birds and eggs. I have had problems with mites, and the plastic makes it very hard for them to hide and easy to treat. However I am disappointed how small it is for 10 birds. I am also slightly concerned it may be drafty in the winter- this may be how I put it together, but could not find a flatter surface in my garden to construct it. It is a great hen house, but I would recomend no more than 8 birds, and definitely a 3m run.

The eglu cube is great. We bought it complete with 6 chickens who started laying the same day! The guy who delivered was really helpful, he put the cube together and showed us how to hold the chickens and clip their wings. It's easy to clean and can be moved quickly with 2 people, it's a bit of a struggle on your own! We have put a fence around the run so during the day the chickens can have a large area to run around in! Would recommend the Eglu to anyone!

I have found the cube to work very well. The assembly instructions were easy to understand and I managed to put it together myself. My two chickens seem to like it very much and have had no trouble using the ladder. It has also been easy to clean. Only down side has been my chickens seem to like using one end of their nest box as a toilet and not sure how to train them not to do this and instead to use the roosting area where the droppings trays are located!

Generally happy with the Eglu, easy to clean. Would have liked the bigger house, just too expensive! Be nice if the house could be mounted higher of ground, and an access from the top of the run, to reach feeders etc. My hens are lovely, enjoy having them.

I love my new Go, it is almost perfect. My only fault I can pick is the nest is not deep enough and my exbatts kick all the bedding straight out . So I end up with cracked eggs. However on the other side it would be great for raising chicks in.

Brilliant hen house! Easy to move, easy to clean and fox proof. Florence, Ermintrude and Dylan all love their new home! The whole family is impressed and my Mum asks when Omlet will make one for dogs. :D
