Does what it’s meant to
My chicks have been enjoying shelter from the wind and rain on our windy hill. They can pick from sheltered areas to out in the open. We all like a bit of choice.

Chickens fave hang out
We live in upstate NY and this is my chickens first winter. The covered area underneath the eglu is their fave hangout now that it’s protected in 3 sides by the windbreaker

Happy chickens
I have a two metre run attached to an EGLU go. The weather proof cover leaves a gap of about 12 inches on both sides of the run, so I have cut the 1m cover in half and covered the gap on each side. Run now fully weather proofed on each side equals happy chickens

The best covers last years
This was well needed as I have a stubborn silkie who insists on camping out every night! Along with the roof covers on my walk in run I have two sides pretty much covered now. Even more expensive tarps don’t match up to eglu covers or look as good, I’ve had some of mine for years now and they don’t loose transparency or fade, they scrub down well good to go.

Dry birds
As much weather as we get in the PNW I thought a cover to keep the coop area dry but allow light /sun/ warmth through was a great idea. And it is! I put the perch out in the run and all my birds love to hang out in the run under the cover during a shower! The space stays dry and warm when the sun comes out. It doubles as a skating rink on frosty days which provides some entertainment for the birds and a giggle or two for me. Both my Eglus have one!

Nice and cosy
Now the nights are dipping below zero I feel happier our five hens are keeping warm but still with ventilation. They are still laying, so must be happy.

Wind Break fit for my girls!
Bought a Windbreak for our Eglu Go Up. Does exactly what we wanted it too. Typical British weather with winds and driving rain resulted in more of a mud bath than a dirt bath under their coupe but now they have a protected dry area to dust!

Perfect weather protection
Despite delayed shipping (the reason we rated 4 and not 5 stars), we received the windbreak before the snow begins to fly here in the north east! It fits perfectly under our Eglu and we are confident it will keep the hens snug this winter. We liked that the 3 pieces are joined with velcro, (hook and loop), no zippers to mess with. We plan on using "zip-ties" to attach to the enclosure. Thanks Omlet for a clever, and practical solution to weather protection!

Another great Omlet product
I purchased the Iglu, run extensions and one Omlet cover last year. The hens really like the rain, sun and snow protection. So I purchased two more covers so all the extensions are covered. The material is very thick and holds up to the elements, is easy to secure. In addition it does not get mold or mildew (like a shower curtain). I highly recommend the covers. The Omlet is a second coop- the hens use it,rest in it, eat in it as they wish.
