The cover is well made and sturdy. I bought it because during winter, I did not want to obstruct light from the run, but also wanted to offer some immediate protection during sudden light rain or snow. I leave it on all the time, and it has lived up to my expectations.

I purchased this in the summer ready for the winter. Some say that isnt needed but I am keen to ensure the chickens are warm. I put it on at a time of freezing fog. Really thick nice quality cover. Easy to fit, with hooks to hold down and pull chords to pull tight against the house

Great cover for the cold weather months in NY. Chickens are protected from the wind, rain, and snow, and still can come out and spend time outside.

Bought this to protect my new chickens from wind and to give extra shelter from rain. The chickens use it when very windy or if rain is heavy ( or when there are hailstones!) Would recommend

I use two of these covers for my eglu go up to give the girls shelter from the rain. They are better than those designed for the ‘ up’ because they are a lot longer. They do the job well but could still do with being longer so that one area could be completely covered to provide shelter from wind and rain..I’s difficult to comment on how useful these would be for the cube.....Suffice to say that it would offer reasonable protection for the top but a lot of the sides would still be open. A choice of longer and shorter ones would be brilliant....so you could mix and match. P.S ......the eglu go up is fantastic!

Very sturdy cover for the run.. My piggies were out in their run one day and the got caught in the rain typical Scottish weather. ???? but it didn't seem to bother them as the cover kept the rain off them. It's the same for the sun.. ????

Great for thunder storms and hot, sunny days.
