This cover is excellent; it seems strong and hard-wearing. Without wishing our summer away, I've bought this for the cooler (and wetter) days of autumn and then winter. As with my heavy duty (non-transparent) full length cover, I bought a cheap pack of 10 tent pegs for a £1, and rather than clipping the bungee hooks to the wire Eglu run, I pull them out 'proud' of the run, so the rain runs off andcaway, keeping the hardwood chips drier for longer. Doing this ensures the glug and grub stays dry to.

We bought this for the Go Up, since the smaller one will only protect a third of the run because of the sloping sides. This is much better, covers from side to side. The chickens enjoy drinking the rain drops as they trickle to the bottom!

Pleased with this although metal eyes are beginning to show rust after only 2 weeks, keeps chick nice and dry

Great addition to the eglu

Brought this as a replacement for my original cover seems sturdier and I think the shape is better, just put on yesterday to provide shade for Hilda & Muriel(my hens) does it's job great.

Really pleased with this cover only had the old triangular one before now the whole run is dry and the hens are able to create a dustbath which is helping to keep them healthy and happy

Easy to fit and does a great job in providing shade and a shelter from the rain for our 3 girls.

This combi cover is perfect for protecting the girls from rain, sidewinds and come the summer it will provide shade as needed,

Images deceptive the middle bungee actually goes over the ends if you want the shade as shown. This means it's not secured at the side mid-points and therefore blew off on the first night. Need fiddly securing, but won't cope with significant winds. Shame- great heavy duty product, but fastening inadequate.

The clear cover protects the hens from the worst of the Lancashire wind and rain, frost and snow. Great to be able to see the hens too and they like to see out and enjoy the sunshine.
