I do not have an eglu but i bought this cover to go over my run attached to my wooden hen house. It really has helped to keep the ground dry and protect my chicks from the winds. It is very strong and attaches easily to the mesh with the bungees so no flapping covers! I have purchased more of these ready for the winter and have also used them to attach to the side of the run for extra protection if rain is blowing in! My pekin chicks are very happy and have nice dry feet!

This clear cover is ideal as it provides protection, and you can still see your chicks. My only concern is how long the rings will hold in the plastic cover as the elastic clips do pull.

Spring and summer were cool and wet, or cool and overcast, in my area. My hens looked miserable, and seemed unhappy especially following the frequent torrents; they went off the lay too. The cover has been very useful. It has kept the run-area dry without blocking light, and has even warmed my girls on the cooler days. (I keep my Eglu Cube under two fruit trees in summer for the dappled shade.) if the day looks to be hot, I tend to take the cover off which is quick and simple to do. I'll be keeping the cover on during the autumn and winter, and though the cover seems robust, I'm not sure yet how well it will manage in frost. It does appear to be thick enough though.

I was so glad that I got this cover. Considering the awful weather we have had this summer in England, it has heen a god send! Our chickens have been been very grateful of it too!

Seems strong and sturdy and provides a reasonable area of shelter from rain and sun to protect the girls and their food. Hopefully it will last a lot longer than the rather pointless lightweight sunshade that I bought before and which shredded to pieces in about a year.

It keeps the cooks dry and out of the wind, very pleased with the cover. My only critasisium is it could be a bit longer to just cover over the otherside another 8 inches or so and slightly wider I bought two shades and it is 10 inches short of covering the run.

Great product does eggactly what it says on the packet. Keeps the chickens dry from all the summer rain, and also the run area does not become muddy. VERY GOOD.

We purchased this thinking it would be as well thought out as the cube. However when installing it I thought it was odd with 3 covers all the same size. My initial thoughts were correct as once installed there is a gap of around 7 inches. That being said the girls love the shelter but it would have been nice if it fitted properly

I bought this as a replacement for the one which came with the original Eglu. SO much better! Really tough. Great buy.

I got my eglu second-hand from someone who no longer keeps chickens (I know, why would you not want chooks). Anyway the cover the came with it was weathered and very thin, eventually ripping in some strong winds. This new heavy duty version is much better. The material is thick and it feels like it'll last. Very pleased :)
