certainly an excellent buy to shelter the chickens from the wind. works well.

It does the job and very good because you can see through it. However, the rings did go rusty within a week and one of the elastic bungee cord snapped. If you want to put this right up against the cube itself then you can't put an elastic on the middle hoop as it gets in the way of the roof as you open it but it so far seems to have stayed on. I have 2 on a 4m section of roof and if you want to make sure it covers all the run they have to overlap with a bit of a kink in the middle or miss out another elastic but overall this product does the job and is aesthetic.

I have 2 for two eglus, and they work very well at keeping the chooks dry in the heaviest rain whilst letting the light in. Mine arrived with hooks supplied (unlike earlier review) and was very easy to fit. I have heard that plastic covers get brittle and break, but mine has remained in tip-top condition for 2 years. I live in woods, so I get a buildup of green algae on both inside and out over winter, but a quick blast with a jet washer and it is as good as new. If and when these wear out, I will definitely buy more.

Great - our old cover (the triangular type) was getting a bit tired so I bought this for my two chooks, and it's perfect. It makes opening the Extreme Temperature Cover a bit fiddly, but that's fair enough - and the two together have made a big difference to my chooks' happiness this winter. Excellent buy.

We live in a spot which is sheltered from the prevailing winds but unfortunately faces north east, so the garden is quite a frost hollow. We also have three sets of nesting red kites in the vicinity so a hiding place for my 6 little ladies is important - even pigeons flying overhead sends then under the cube. The dust bath is also sheltered from the rain under here.

Chucks love it and shelter behind it a lot. Been so valuable thus winter with all the strong winds and rain. Great purchase.

Purchased clear cover for my Eglu classic. It fits well, stays amazingly clean and lets so much more light into the run. Excellent for these darker winter months.

Purchased the clear cover to give protection and more light during the winter months. Fits my classic perfectly and is a lot brighter in the run.
