Verified Reviews for Eglu Chicken Coop Run Covers & Tarps

This is very much better than the previous lightweight covers we've had from Omlet, and looks as if it will last much longer.

Gave the girls a much lighter run and still keeps them dry . My old green ones were dried out and needed replacement

This works really well and keeps the ground underneath nice and dry so the chicks have somewhere to shelter. We have just had heavy, huge hail stones and the ground under is still dry.

This cover is working well in the snow, I brushed soft snow off using a soft bristled paint brush.

This arrived 4 days ago and was fitted within 5 minutes, the chickens were instantly pleased to find their run full of daylight. I am now able to just feed them inside again which reduces the wild birds eating so much of the food!! Yes you do get condensation on the underside but maybe the full green cover had that to but it couldn't be seen and it clears away during the day. Noticed an increase in egg production already 12 eggs in 4 days from 4 hens. Great for the occasions when I need to shut the hens into the run before dusk to keep them safe.

Does exactly what it says on the tin!! No more no less

Purchased as a winter cover bearing in mind the fact that there is less daylight around.. So far so good. Fab easy fit, protects during wind & rain.. confuses the girls who try to eat the raindrops off of it!! Will see how long it lasts ;-)

I do not have an eglu but i bought this cover to go over my run attached to my wooden hen house. It really has helped to keep the ground dry and protect my chicks from the winds. It is very strong and attaches easily to the mesh with the bungees so no flapping covers! I have purchased more of these ready for the winter and have also used them to attach to the side of the run for extra protection if rain is blowing in! My pekin chicks are very happy and have nice dry feet!

I'm really pleased with this cover . It's kept the run nice and dry for my hens which is good especially as I live in Scotland .

We needed a new cover for our run after managing to rip the original one ( which was the best part of 6 well weathered years old). Our two elderly, free ranging Light Sussex ladies were a bit suspicious of it at first, but once they realised the clear cover meant they could see their food even better than usual, they made themselves very much at home, trampled all over their new roof and christened it the way only chickens can...thankfully it is easy to clean. This clear heavy duty cover was definitely worth buying, and is as well designed and of the excellent quality of all the Omlet products we have purchased. Thank you!
