The pegs give you peace of mind in that they make it more difficult for anything to burrow under the apron and attack out chickens! They simply screw into the soil and pull the apron down firmly. Obviously, sandy soil would be a problem, but they work well in our "soft" topsoil

We had two home-made runs attached to Eglus in our old garden and planned to build new ones after we moved house. We purchased two 2M runs as a temporary solution while we moved as they were very easy to assemble, disassemble and transport (and I do mean really easy!) However now we've used them for a few weeks we're in no rush to build larger runs, these are ideal for our needs with two chickens happily roaming in each. I have two minor gripes: The shade supplied is very small. In order to provide some permanent shade and to protect the feeders from rain, I had to create some custom sized tarpaulins and attach using the Omlet supplied bungees. The other issue is the access doors are small. They are perfectly adequate for accessing food and water, but if you need to delve a little further into the run (when the hens are cheeky and lay in the run!) it can be tricky to squeeze in. But overall we are very pleased and would certainly purchase more should the need arise.

I love it the mobility and light weight. I have been using it as a way to clear new garden beds of grass and weeds as well as fertilizing the soil. Besides the chickens are never short on bugs and are entertained with their new surroundings.

A good way to secure your runs. I like these because they are easy to screw out and easily visible when I need to move my run around the lawn,

Very easy to install and gives me peace of mind that coyotes or errant dogs won't be able to push their way under the skirt and snag my ducks. So far (two whole nights of my 7 week old pets living oustide in their Eglu and run) so good.

The screw pegs are are fine for the flat fox proof wire at base of wire housing and screwing them into grass makes them secure as not easily lifted out.

These pegs are very easy to use. They are of good quality; sturdy, strong and work so much better than tent pegs which I was using before. They hold down the anti fox skirt very firmly, so my chooks are completely safe.

Does what it says on the tin. Easy to fit - managed it on my own in a couple of hours but if I'd had help it would have been a lot quicker! Nothing wrong with the product, but having the extra 1m on the Eglu Go Up does make it harder to move around the garden (but that's because I have a small new build type garden and the strength of a kitten.... :-)

It was easy and quite quick to extend our existing run and it’s great for them to have more space when we are not around. Really pleased

We built our coop with te extension fist because we wanted to give our new chickies the room to move freely. I think it gives them as much inside room whilst still giving the full protection from the outside predators. Where we live, a hawk (and has) come to swoop in even while we are outside in the yard.
