Well worth buying, spent whole day watching the chickens learn how to use it!

My chickens dont know how to use it so still only drink from the normal glug, they try to fly and sit on the edge of this.

When I bought my Eglu about five years ago this type of water system wasn't available. I saw it at the Malvern Spring Garden Show and thought it was brilliant - so as soon as i got home I ordered one. It arrived really quickly and is up and running in my Hen run. Both the Guinea fowl and bantams that I keep are using it - so I am delighted. No more bits of bark and leaves etc in the water - Brilliant. thanks

Jennifer and Clarissa love their new superglug. The water stays nice and clean and, apart from me giving them some guidance on where to get the water from, they've taken to it really well.

Well it arrived about an hour ago and both I and the chooks LOVE IT! They took to it straight away. It holds so much more water than the regular glug and I won`t have to keep wasting Apple Cider Vinegar and Verm-x cos the girls can`t flick food and wodchips into it like the regular glug. I confess, I bought this from ebay from somebody who's chooks wouldn't take to it. I thought I was going to have the same problem. Having the eglu it was finding a spot high ehough to place the glug, eventually I put it above the door, which works great. My only issue is with the girls sitting on top of the run and pooing in it! Need to re position the shade, or get hubby to rig up a cover.

I bought the super glug thinking my chooks would eventually be learning to use this but i was wrong. We ended up having to lower it down the bars so they could drink from the top, so i regrete buying this product and sould have bought the more simple "glug". The only good side to it is that there it holds alot more water than the ordinary glug,but i don't think it was worth £12.99!
