Our cats are obsessed with it
Kate,
Even before we had everything set up the cats were trying to sit in the hammock.

Ann,
Seriously well made and robust. My kitten loves it. Particularly likes hiding in the hammock and popping out to surprise you!

Whole System.
Tim, North Carolina,
The complete whole system I bought (pole, platform, steps and hooded platform) are excellent and well made.

bamboo warps and cracks, even with wood oil applied
Rachel, Massachusetts,
Love the freestyle tree in general but the bamboo hammock platform is not a sound design. Omlet says cracks on untreated bamboo will be small and insignificant, but they are large and make a loud sound and warp the shape, at least in my climate. I asked for a treated replacement but customer service kept sending untreated before they did their research to find out it's not available treated like the solid platform. Instead Omlet is choosing to pass on the work and expense to their customers to put wood oil on it, citing "environmental reasons" for using up their untreated supply (not seeing that the process of all their customers buying wood oil uses up environmental resources as well?). Even when I sent links to my online photo galleries showing how bad the first two untreated platforms were and expressing skepticism that wood oil would help, nobody would acknowledge there was a problem. I applied copious amounts of wood oil immediately to the third platform, but the cracks and warping are just as bad. Kitty doesn't like touching it. Very disappointing product and process.

Fun and robust
Trish, QLD,
Excellent design and value for money. Allows for creativity and flexibility according to your space and existing furniture. Easy to change as you work out what works and what doesn't for your kitties. Video instructions were top quality. Fast cheap postage of lightweight and high-quality materials. The cats' favourite area so far is the hammock. We've ordered another so each kitty can enjoy simultaneously. It's a lot of fun for everyone and can't wait to plan more

well designed, great for our small apartment. get a hammock!!
Audrey,
we adopted two kittens and it became apparent they needed a cat tree. i live in a pretty small apartment and dislike the look of most traditional cat trees, did not want some carpeted cardboard thing i would throw away in a few years. this did not disappoint- -i appreciate that if i wanted to add or replace individual components, they can be bought separately. -the hardware included exceeded our expectations- my partner compared it to what you would see on professional film/photography equipment. really substantial and great quality -setup took a bit because each component is modular and separately packaged, but was pretty intuitive. -at first i thought the regular steps seemed small, and my cats were a bit shy about using them. however they are running up and down no problem now. If i had an older/less agile cat, i might consider adding additional steps or ramp. -after reading a lot of reviews and looking at how others set up their trees, i was sold on swapping out the den for a hammock. the hammock is a big hit- it is one of their favorite hangout spots and more often than not they're sharing it. it is plenty big for the both of them right now, as they get older/bigger i may get a second one. -i love that in the future when we move, i can reconfigure this to suit the new space. i wish we had space for at least two poles because i can see how much more functional/ different setup options there are for it. if you have space for two poles, you should go for it. it's a bit tricky putting steps all around one pole (you almost have to spiral staircase it) unless you have some preexisting furniture/steps to add into the mix, like a shelf or wide ledge of nearby furniture to work with. overall highly recommend! totally worth the investment. looking forward to growing/adapting this as our needs change. for scale, our kittens are about 4 months old and 5 lbs/ 8 lbs respectively

This is fantastic
Carolina,
We love this....setup took some time because of all the parts involved but it was not difficult. The most difficult part was finding the perfect configuration for our needs. Stormi, our rescue, was extremely cautious. Thankfully we were fostering 4 kittens who didn’t share in her hesitation. As you can see, they took to it. We did have to take the top of the den off because the kittens thought they should play on top of it and since it was the highest point on the tower, we thought we should err on the side of caution. If you are on the fence about this, I say go for it. We enjoy watching the cats on it. The hammock is a big hit and it wonderful to watch the cardboard being utilized. Stormi preferred to scratch up my area rugs, which was expensive.

Great Idea!
Valery,
I had never thought of putting up a second pole and connecting it to our cat tree until i saw a friend's post on Instagram showing their set up. It has really made a lovely little 'climbing frame' that our cats seem to enjoy. Looks like it made of quality material that will hopefully last.

Minnie loves this
Janet,
Our cat Minnie loved our freestyle so much that we decided to expand it by adding another pole! She looks really at home jumping and climbing on the new set up and i would definitely recommend to all cat owners :)
