Took her a while to try it out, but now she is very happy with it. Took a long time to find a cardboard scratcher and she wouldn't use the rope type poless at all. Great product!

My cat seems to have particularly curved claws and he got one hooked in a sisal scratching post and wasn't able to free himself, which was very worrying. These cardboard scratchers were the answer - he loves them. He has one upstairs and one downstairs - they lasted two and a half years before a refill pack was needed.

In true Magik fashion she comes to new things in her own time. So, she's only used the scratching post a few times. When she has used it though it's been with enthusiasm. She is a large cat and it was wonderful to watch her stretch to her full height and scratch. I predict that this scratching post will get a lot of use...and make us both happy.

My cat loves the cardboard scratcher boxes but dislikes the standard scratching posts that are covered in carpet. I found this an ordered immediately. It is VERY well made and sturdy! My cat took to it right away.
