I bought in to the Omlet system because my friend has a Mk2 with a 2 metre run which I like. But she has 2 chickens and I wanted to keep 4 so I wanted more room. The 2x2x2 has turned out to add much more than just floor space however. I've put in 2 perches at different heights, and my birds fly around from one to the other. Also the stable doorway makes safe access very easy. I can re-fill water and food by leaning over the bottom stable door. And I can also from outside easily refill feeding trays that I hang from the ceiling. My girls are very happy.

Not only provides a lot more space than Eglu Cube + 2x1m run, but I love sitting in there with them, especially when they fall asleep on my outstretched legs or on the perch next to me while I sing to them! I let them out into the garden for at least a couple of hours each day for more exercise and interest and to peck at grass and scratch around as it wouldn't be big enough for them to be stuck in all the time. As it's so secure I don't worry too much about foxes if I'm out in the evening and don't get back till dark to shut them in the coop. Obviously it's not moveable like the Cube + 2x1m run, and they'd scratched all the vegetation away in a week. Now a mud bath in wet weather so will probably order rain cover too. Reasonably easy to put up. Probably doesn't need to be quite as high.

We have a Mark 1 egloo for our chickens with 1m extension. It was fine but wanted to give the chickens more room so put netting up in a larger area for the to run around in during the day. The problem was that we had to go and open up every morning and lock up in the evening. Whilst not too bad for us when we went away it was a pain for our neighbours who were looking after the chickens. So we invested in the 2m walk in run and its been fantastic. The chickens can now come out on their own during the day without us having to open and close up. Excellent for the neighbours. I have put wooden planks around the edge and filled with wood chips which look great and make it so much cleaner. Overall I would recommend this to anyone.

An incredibly well built, easy to install (well, I’m only passing on the feedback from my partner and sons who actually built the thing!) and stunning addition to my garden. Such a pleasure to spend time inside it just hanging out with my girls - I’ve installed a chair in one corner as I spend so much time in there with them! Fabulous, Omlet. Top marks.

I am delighted by the look of our 3 X 2 X 2 run, which is surprisingly elegant in design and so pleasing that it actually improves the garden. It seems airy and spacious and the hens seem to like it very much. Much nicer than the publicity photos suggest and excellent customer service!

bought the Eglu up, which the girls really took to. they love the shade of the next box. then added the walk in run, which is really well built and totally secure. it's all surrounded by the chicken fence, which again is a great product. Did find it a little tricky to put together at first, but once we got the hang it went up well.

Took less than an hour to set up- easy to assemble and very good quality product. Just as effective for large parrots as it is for chickens :)

We built this with a neighbour helping (3 of us) and found it quite fiddly. It was a cold day and we didn't warm the clips in hot water (we did when we bought the extension kit later!) so they were very hard to clip. We also found later that we had put the bottom panels facing different ways (they are slightly different on each side). It didn't affect the structure. We would have like the various pieces numbered, perhaps with a tag on each, and then the numbers marked out on the picture in the instruction manual. We originally bought a 2 x 2 x 2 but knew when we had more cash we would buy an extension - it is great that you can adapt it as you go. We now have a 3 x 3 x 2 run. Making the run bigger the second time was much quicker, with the clips in a bowl of hot water. As it was a wintery day the warm water helped warm the hands whilst softening the clips - ideal as it was hard to use the clips wearing gloves. The ordering / delivery was excellent - I think we received both orders within 2 days and on the day promised.

I bought my walk in run second-hand. The previous owner supplied all the clips, but told us that she'd resorted to using cable ties instead. As I have arthritis in my hands, I did the same. The clips were too fiddly. My entire run is held together with cable ties, and they work. Once the roof is on, it seems surprisingly stable. Not difficult to put together and it fitted beautifully to my coop. Looking forward to letting the hens out in it tomorrow.
