Being very 'untechnical' it took considerably longer to erect than suggested but I am very pleased with this product. It does the job well and when we are not here we can feel content that our girls are as safe as they can be!

I thought it was unpleasant to put together - fingers hurt form all the clips and I got it wrong a few time so had to undo a lot (especially the roof - instructions have ample room for improvement) but I'm really chuffed with the end result and love it. I put 12 gage welded mesh underneath so no rats or foxes can possible break this.....

I have bought the walk in run, but last night the latch fell off so I couldn't lock the bottom door, so I will calling today. But other than that, it is great I love that they have more room plus it is easier to clean as I can stand up in it. I would of given it five stars if the door had not broken.

The walk in chicken run is a brilliant invention. We started with a go up chicken house and run but you can't get in very easy so we upgraded to a walk in chicken run. It's great, it is safe and secure for the chickens. you can enter and shut the door behind you and pick up your chickens and check the over and fill up their glug and grub pots very easily.

Great walk in chicken run for when the chickens need to be kept off other parts of the garden or just safe from predators when we are not around. Have the large size 3 x 4 x 2 for 4 chickens as wanted plenty of space for them. The cube house does fit inside but is limited as to where you can put it due to poles in the middle of the run and the various openings of the coop. Took two adults almost a whole day to put together - don't know where the 2 hours came from! But once put together it is fab, looks great, lots of comments from the neighbours and the chickens love it too. No need for roof cover as when wet (and we get plenty of rain here in Ireland!) they take cover under the coop. Overall, very pleased with quality and appearance. Would recommend.

After loosing a favourite chicken to the dratted fox - crossed wires about who had closed the Eglu door for the night - we decided to take the plunge and buy the 2x2 walk in run plus connector panel. We have joined the Eglu with its existing run to the walk in enclosure so if the Eglu door doesn't get shut (it never will though!), she's still safe. The enclosure is brilliant, with a snazzy stable door so I can lean in to give treats etc and keep the dogs out. We have positioned it amongst the trees at the bottom of the garden and the green colour blends in beautifully when looking from the kitchen window. It took two of us two sessions to get it erected and fixed to our original run, but we were stopped by foul weather. I would allow a good three hours for the job, the fixing clips are fiddly, but well worth the security and peace of mind. All in all I'm thrilled with the walk in chicken run and have accessorised with new green glug and grubs and shall get a sun shade for the summer. Buy one!

Just a slight update after having the walk in run for a few months; I still love the space and height that this gives our chickens, unfortunately the larger grid size on the run skirt and the upper levels doesn't keep rats out of the run like the runs that come with the cube/classic/go. It's been comedy capers in our garden trying to deter a very intelligent and cunning rat with has taken up residence in our garden. Firstly it was digging through the holes in the skirt to gain access to the run and food, so we bought slabs to cover the skirt which meant that it could enter that way, so then it began climbing to the second level and gained access via the second level. So we bought some netting to put over the next level but this doesn't cover the entire height, just meant the rat has to climb higher to gain access., so we'll need to buy more to cover the whole of the upper tier. We also purchased traps, the snap traps and humane cage traps have been activated, but our resident rat managed to escape both both these so has been given the name Houdini....so not as great as first thought,and the additional expense needed to try and unsuccessfully keep said rat out isn't great either, it maybe an idea to reassess the upper layer and run skirt to keep unwanted rodents out.
