We designed our Coop Light to lead lingerers in to roost. Powered by and synced to your automatic chicken coop door. It comes on 5 minutes before the door is scheduled to close. Once everyone is tucked up and the door’s safely shut, the light turns gently off.

How nice not to have to get up at the crack of dawn on what are now becoming chilly mornings. I do have to say that I switched from the light sensor to the timer because the door was not opening early enough. Perhaps if I had it on AC, instead of batteries, it would be more reliable, but the timed settings is working quite well.

The automatic door has held up through ice and snow. It is great as it lets the chickens out earlier then I get up. I can go on vaction and just have people collect eggs. I now have two coops with two of these doors and they have been worth it!
