Back to ProductFantastic Robust Pegs! - Brian, Berkshire,
I bought these at the same time as My New Catio and Porch Extension. I just thought that they would be perfect to
Anchor everything down securely. They are strong and easy to use and go into the ground well though you may have to unwind them and then wind them down again a couple of times to get them fully engaged. Brilliant product and I will order more for my Gazebo.

Eglu go up run extension - Nicole, Co. Carlow,
Bought this coop and extended run I have previously owned both a classic eglu and a cube . Good points are it’s fab too move around on its wheels giving my girls fresh ground to dig in ,easy to clean and better for me to be able to get in to feed and water containers .The design is good but have to say prefer the classic eglu moulded shape it’s seems softer not such sharp looking corners better quality of plastic .It’s a-shame that the classic shape couldn’t have been adapted to be raised up on wheels .The nest box in the go up is very shallow girls don’t like it and will lay on the bars where as the classic was round and deeper almost cuddling them as they lay .I have silkies and the ladder has been a nightmare they refused to use it I have spent 2 weeks having to put them to bed and get them out so I have had to widen with a lid off a large storage box and cover in carpet and put that over the ladder they now put them selves to bed and come down whether they will ever get used to it I don’t know .The feeder is ok but the lid is a real fiddle to put on and get off so I have given up and left it off plus silkies have a Pom Pom on their heads and won’t put their heads in to feed .On reflection I should have stayed with the classic eglu but it’s hard to move around so I will stick with the eglu go up for that reason and may be not have silkies again

Really nice to have - Jillian, West Midlands,
The run porch gives another layer of protection and security for your chickens, especially if they don't free range and you're worried about one zooming out when you open the door.

And stretch... - Anne, Ross-shire,
I am so glad I got this extension. I have 3 booted bantams who do get lots of time out but still have to spend long hours in the run, especially in bird flu season. I had a 3 metre run, but this extra metre seems to give them extra space they really need.

Great pegs! - Tom, Berkshire,
We bought these to secure the skirt of the chicken run but they make great pegs for tents or awnings too - easy to screw in and remove and very strong and secure.

Added an extension - Desiree, Ross-shire,
These coops are long lasting. My chickens were warm in the winter, love laying and sleeping in the box, and running around in the run. We purchased handles, a second water bowl, and an extension to pamper our favorite Easter Eggers.

Chickens love the portability - Jane, Surrey,
We bought an extended run because of the chickens having to be incarcerated but they seem to benefit from the fact the run can be easily moved around so they have a fresh bit of garden to explore and peck at every few days - also better for the lawn. However, we had hoped the run would be relatively rat-proof but they can get through the wire mesh.

Robust pegs - Derek, Berkshire,
These screw pegs work so well, such a clever idea. They hold down the skirting to the chicken run & are also brilliant for tent pegs.

Gets through our clay soil with little effort - Rebecca, Berkshire,
Well made, sturdy screws that are easy to screw into our clay soil. Does a great job holding firmly down any areas that may have some gaps. I don't think we have a flat spot anywhere on our property so these were definitely needed!

Easy coop setup! - Alexander, Hants,
I bought this about 3 weeks ago and shipping was fast.(roughly under 4 days from ordering) We bought this and a reduced price model b. Compared , this one was the easier of the 2 to setup. Took roughly a hour with 2 people (with breaks to pet the puppy) putting it together. Everything was neatly organized and fairly easy to put together. The only deceptive thing i can find is that it 'looks' fairly light and easy to carry. It actually is fairly heavy and id recommend 2 people carry it! It went outside briefly and the feral cats seem to like these as well so theres another plus.
but 5 stars for sure ! it looks pretty tough and im eager to see how my small flock takes to it

Great coop with good instructions. - Angie, Surrey,
We received the coop in a timely manner. We did the 13 foot run and it took a couple days to assemble but we can tell it will be a great coop. We also purchased the wheels so it will be a tractor.

Love! - Amanda, Co. Carlow,
The purple is adorable. We purchased for our smaller breeds and it is the sweetest little chicken chateau.

Couldn't recommend the Cube more highly! - Jillian, Surrey,
I have two Cubes now. One has a 9 ft extension (with wheels and handles). The other is just on the stand (no wheels). Both are connected to a 9ft x 24ft by 6ft walk-in run. I initially used the Cube as a chicken tractor until the first winter. Living in New England where snow and ice lock the Coop+run in place for months out of the year, I decided to invest in the walk-in run to give the chickens more space to roam, while being safe and protected by the heavy duty steel mesh. The Cube affords easily clean up with the droppings tray that slides in and out. The nesting box area is lovely so that the chickens lay in one place and sleep/poop in another. (I like to put fine straw in the nesting box as soft bedding.) The Cube is also compatible with the automatic door, which is SO incredibly nice to have. That was something that I didn't buy initially, but after a few months decided to purchase. It would have been much easier to install it in one fell swoop when the coop/run arrived. If you're on the fence about the automatic door, get it when you get the Cube. It's worth every penny. The only word of wisdom is for the warm months. The green plastic for the coop can get quite warm, so consider deploying a patio umbrella to shade it. I have a digital thermometer inside one of the Cubes to monitor the temp while I'm inside the house. The Cube can get very hot inside when the sun beats on it for hours at a time. The umbrella works wonders though.
