So for doing what it’s supposed to, this is great! It’s meant for keeping chickens in.. NOT keeping predators out. I knew this, but still was sad when some dogs knocked it down. Thankfully coop held up great. But this is a nice cost effective solution to give your chickens some space to roam.. but only let them do so when you are close!

It took a bit of time putting it together , but our rabbit seems very happy even if it’s raining as she stays under the cover or chooses to go back inside . I’m sure she is happier

As new chicken owners, we originally purchased the Eglu Go. After having our chickens for nearly a year, we realized that it would be great to have the autodoor feature, but the autodoor doesn't work on the Go. We decided to upgrade to the Cube so we could add the auto door (and add more chickens, of course, since it's larger!). Now that I've been using the Cube for a month I realize how nice it is to have the larger coop with the seperate nest box area. It is so nice to have it up off the ground, and it is easier to clean. My advice to new chicken owners considering which Omlet coop to get: get the Cube (and add an auto door.) You think it's a lot of money, but it costs even more when you buy the small one and then want more chickens and end up upgrading less than a year later! :)

We have had this for about a month and the guineas have moved outdoors to their new home now. They are happy and it is lovely to see them outside. The order arrived as planned. Assembly was ok but does require watching the video first to get it right. Took about 2 hours. The hutch is secure and easy to clean and the run is reassuringly secure too. I find that when the door is opened it is too large an opening meaning they don’t have a nice place to hide and seem to feel quite exposed. A smaller opening would be better for them so we have fitted cardboard in the hole with a little opening at the bottom. It would also be great to be able to look in at them without opening the whole of the back wall, although I realise this would complicate the construction. Overall a great product. I hope we have a long term use from this

We upgraded as have been so impressed with the 2nd hand Eglu Go we had originally, wish we had stopped using wooden coops years ago. I love that I'm not having to bend to clean the tray/ get eggs any more. The girls love the extra height. We transferred in the Omlet perch we got them and they really like being able to see when sat high up, they were blocked by the all weather cover in the Go. They also flap from the door of their Eglu to the perch to the end of the run so its been great during bird flu lockdown.

Good features once set up. Please allow a good amount of set up time and locking system on poles becomes tiresome towards the end, not to mention a sore finger.

All in all, I’m quite pleased with hexagon “nest.” I love the “no mess” feature with one caveat: the bins that collect the chaff fill up rather quickly, and the only way to get at them to empty them is to take the whole contraption apart, as you do when cleaning the cage. One thing I’ve done when to chaff bins have filled up is to switch the water and seed pods, which gives me two empty bins for the birds to fill up. It helps but isn’t a solution. Also, the clips get in the way when resettling the nest to the base. There’s probably a simple solution to this. I just haven’t figured it out yet.

My gals love this toy, I half fill it most days it keeps them busy for ages, when I go in to visit them during the day to keep them from under my feet I just shake this toy to release the grains and the girls all come running in a frenzy! Lol ????
