The cube has been assembled but we do not yet have our chickens, so this is an interim assessment. It took 2 of us longer than 2 hours to assemble, so the estimate of 2 hours for one person was on the low side for us. The roof of the cube is quite stiff when being opened/closed, but that may ease with frequent use. The design is clever and the appearance is good. We are looking forward to the cube being put to use when our chickens arrive.

I bought one of these to try and loved it so bought a second. I have a walk in run and found that the food and water were getting dirty very easily as the chickens were kicking their wood bedding into the grub and glug. They have stayed clean since putting on the stand. I have put 2 grubs on one and 2 glugs on another as am not sure they would understand one side was for water and the other for food. very worthwhile purchase

It makes life so much easier. I have made an extention to the cube run. I can now feed the hens without having to struggle to reach the old run where the feeder used to attatch to the side.

Really happy with this - it is expensive, but for a novice chicken keeper like myself I think it is money well spent. It is easy to assemble (it took me three hours rather than the suggested two and I have a slight problem with the sliding roof section which needs a bit of adjustment, but it has kept my rather bald ex batt chooks toasty warm, dry and safe during all the recent bad weather. It is easy to clean and maintain and overall I give it a big thumbs up.

This stand is jsut what I needed as it is so easily moved when necessary. Highly recommended.

I bought 2 of these so I could hang a drinker and feeder side by side outisde when they were free-ranging. My chooks didn't understand that after eating they then had to walk round round the other side to get a drink.....! An unintended use, which has proved very helpful during this cold snap when the girls have been confined to the run, is being able to use the stand to carry the feeder and drinker inside in the evening and carry fresh water & mash out again the next morning.

This is a really superior product.It has been well tested recently with night time temperatures of -10c. the girls have hopped out every morning and shown their gratitude by continuing to lay!

It was great fun putting the cube together myself and gave appreciation of the thought and quality of the product as a whole. Cleaning is simplicity itself and I predict a jetwash clean, when needed, will give great results in a very short time. I look forward to red mite being a thing of the past. The hens seem to accept the Cube easily and all works well except that the step into the cube (once off the ladder) can give the hens problems in the wet as it gets very slippery. Might be something to modify in future production runs. Everything else is fine - thank you.

I was disappointed to find that the run did not detach easily from the chicken house. This means that the 2 together are heavy and cumbersome to move around the garden and requires 2 people. I intend to move my chickens frequently and it will be a more difficult task than I had envisaged. (It could be that it is actually quite easy to detach the wire run and I have not yet found out how to do it?) Otherwise I think the design is good, and everything that I had expected it to be.

Assembled very well: apart from fitting the wheel assemblies: I managed on my own without any real problems (5 foot and 8 stone so not exactly the strongest!) I found the instructions clear and easy to follow. Although I've had the cube for a couple of weeks I have only just moved the hens into it because of the very cold weather. They have settled in really well and seem quite happy. I would also like to say that Omlet's Customer Service is brilliant.
