We love it, the chickens love it now - at first they had to be put in bodily but soon got used to it. Putting it together wasn’t as easy as it looks on utube! It might be for an agile 17 - 50yr old but senile 70s found it hard to get squashed in to put screws in then couldn’t get out. It certainly took us more than 2hrs to put together. Of course anyone adept in Lego would manage quite easily. It cleans easily and moves easily - even on uneven ground. I would certainly recommend it.

Worth every penny for a well thought out and constructed chicken coop. Easy to keep clean as an added bonus.

Fantastic product my hens love it and so do I. Really like how easy it is to clean out and the nesting area is wonderful and dark just what my girls like when laying an egg.

Ordered a cube, run, autodoor and fencing during COVID quarantine, had to wait a long time but it was worth the wait and the cost. So well designed, the Omlet designers really worked through all the details... made our first experience of chicken keeping so much easier and our girls are so happy and healthy. Assembly definitely takes a long time, but it's not hard... just use the videos and don't rush, it all comes together exactly as described. Being able to move the coop around the yard with the wheels to fresh grass is brilliant and the chickens love the change of scenery and fresh grass. Had a couple of minor issues with the run extension but was really pleased with the responsiveness and friendliness of customer service... they absolutely stand behind the product, which is important when making this kind of investment. The autodoor is a life-changer if you work outside the home... makes the whole thing so much more possible and stress-free.

Although the assembly directions were spare, we had no problem putting this together. I came to appreciate only having to read one line per step rather than pages. The coop is easy to take apart and keep clean and we have had no odor issues at all. The girls feel quite at home here.

Been using the coop for several weeks now and could not be happier. Building it was time consuming but largely straightforward. Speeded up the process by using a second pair of hands, though my ‘assistant’ didn’t read their instructions properly and cut our supply of ‘double run’ clips for attaching the front mesh panels in half while I wasn’t looking, assuming they were joined by mistake… Have no experience of cleaning a wooden coop but suspect the plastic Omlet is much more straightforward. Had it for a week before putting in an order for the optional wheels. Think they pretty much an essential purchase, particularly if you add an extra 1 meter to the run. It makes cleaning the run floor much easier as you can move coop on your own. Time will tell how it stands up to long term use but am very optimistic.

me and the chuks love it and I feal safe in the knowledge that that pesky fox who killed my other chuks can't get to them,the little ones find it difficult to clime the steep steps and so do the ducks but hope fully they will win thank you soon much for my safe house its brilliant . Julia

I wish I’d bought one years ago. For a bit of extra money over a wooden coop, I’d have saved myself hours of cleaning, repainting, trying to keep red mite away (how they loved that wooden house), re-roofing etc. This is just great. So easy to clean, easy to access (eggs and main house), secure, robust. One of the chickens can’t get her head around the ladder, so I’ve had to prop the old wooden one there instead, I think the plastic steps are too slippy for her (she’s a big weighty chicken). I wasn’t anticipating the detailed flat-pack build required, but the instructions were clear and it didn’t take that long. Very pleased with this purchase.

When the run handles arrived I moved the Cube under a tree for some shade. I wrapped the electric fencing around the Cube, next to the tree. During lunchtime I looked out at the run and noticed an overturned bucket and dark figure. Momma bear was in the run! She had nuzzled Up the tent stakes and crawled inside. The hens were huddled under the cube. I sounded an air horn until she broke out of the run and ricochetted off the tree to freedom. Thank goodness for the clip system which allowed her to break out but was easy to put back together. I now use screw tie downs. The Omlet screws are super fast to install and allow tightening with a drill! Thank you Omlet for your thoughtful designs and quality materials!
