Overall, I love the material of the hutch and how easy it is to clean. It’s insulated, quick to clean and both my rabbits enjoy the 4m run we have. However, I think there are some serious accessibility issues: clearly in the tiny entrance to the actual run, which I can’t fit in at all. The door could and should be larger for accessibility to my rabbits and cleaning the run. With the hutch itself compared to the “original” Eglu which I have for my ducks, the door is really hard to get my rabbits out of and especially if they’re in a skittish mood I’m terrified of one running out the other side of the opening. I also can’t stand the dial you turn to close it, the thing is hard to remember and not easy, my rabbits have escaped twice now because it’s such an easy system to get wrong. I feel it would be perfect with just the original system of removing the shell to clean and good side door, that the original has and a bigger run door that’s purely fitted for a child. Overall my rabbits do well and are warm I’m just scared of them getting out.

Bought this for my lone rabbit. I also bought the 3m run which is an extension piece for the 2m run. Not sure pod area would b big enough for 2 rabbits and with the extension the run does seem a bit flimsy. Not sure it’s worth the price I paid tbh.

We bought this for our much loved one year old rabbit but she doesn’t like the nest area, she sits in the rain and rarely ventures inside. Unlike normal hutches there is not the opportunity for our rabbit to sit stretched out, looking out when the weather is bad. We have our lawn treated by greenthumb and we had to lift it off the lawn for two weeks into the patio and we had to dismantle the whole run to move it up to the terrasse. So we are now thinking of getting another rabbit for the spring to try and get her outside permanently, it is annoying as this was an expensive cage but not working for us . Also are the bars if the run rat proof as our neighbour had a rat in their garden and I have read they can squeeze through a pound coin size hole ?

As we expected the quality of the product is great. The only negative is buying the 3 meter run did add complexity in the installation as there was no clear instructions on installing it and we only worked it out by doing a google search. My recommendation to Omlet is please number each part so that it is clear which part goes ware especially for the run. What was 2 hours took 4 hours due to lack of clear instructions. The rear door does also catch a bit when opening.

It is a very strong and durable hutch. However, this product is not out of the box ready. The clips that came with the product are ineffective, “totally obsolete” for the purpose of safely holding an animal. The shade cloth is very weak. The accessories that came with the product are very cheap and came broken upon arrival. Given the inordinate price tag of the product I expect that at a minimum it is build ready out of the package and this was not the case. I would buy this product again however I would have had a big bag of zip ties already standing by. Once the hutch is built and stabilized it will without equivocation hold up to the elements and predators. Biggest word of advice please fix the clips and shade cloth even if it means not including the freebee water bottle, hay feeder and bowl. The utility of hutch stabilization and shade cover is paramount. We bought 2 of these, one for a rabbit and one for a guinea pig. These runs look really nice and generally feel sturdy but there are some issues. The water bottles leak inside the box and over the day, will empty themselves. It’s also difficult to get the rabbit out of the cage part of the run. I also begrudge paying £20 delivery on a £700+ order.
