Will it be large enough for my cat?

We recommend that the Maya Donut Cat Bed is a comfortable size for cats who weigh up to 11lbs, however it can hold up to 13lbs. in weight if your cat is heavier but would fit in the dimensions: 1ft 7in x 1ft 2in x 6in.

How do I wash and dry the bed cover?

The bed cover can be unzipped, removed from the cushion and put in the washing machine, using a gentle cycle with mild detergent. If you have feet on your donut bed these must be removed. Leave the cover to air dry flat, then put the cover on the cushion and zip back up. Do not tumble dry the cover. Wash with similar colors, and do not bleach. Gently hand wash the cushion only.

What material is it made from?

The bed cover and filling are made from polyester. The feet frame and metal hairpin feet are made from mild steel wire and sheet. The wood feet are made from rubber wood.

Will the bed lose its plush finish and softness?

The Maya Donut Elevated Cat Bed is a long-lasting cat bed with a machine washable cover to ensure it can be kept fresh and clean, as well as super soft and comfortable. The premium plush finish will maintain its softness, and the plump cushion will hold its shape to guarantee everlasting comfort.

Will the feet mark my floor?

The wooden feet have rubber bungs underneath, and the hairpin feet sit in silicone caps, to prevent the bed from sliding when raised up on feet, and prevent marks on your floor.

Is this bed suitable for small dogs too?

Yes, this bed would also be suitable for small dog breeds up to 11 lbs.

How do I attach the feet?

To attach the feet, simply unzip the cover and place the frame inside on the underside of the bed. Zip back up and screw the feet in through the holes in the fabric and frame. Our helpful instruction manual shows you exactly how to assemble the Maya Donut cat bed.

The frame is included with the feet in "Frame with Feet" products, bought through the configurator.

What is the returns policy and warranty for this bed?

If you do not like the bed or your cat doesn’t use it within 180 days of purchase, you can return it to us for a full refund if still in perfect condition. This bed also has a 2 year warranty, so please contact us if you feel the bed has broken within the warranty period. The bed is not chew or claw proof, and we cannot replace or refund beds which have been damaged through natural pet usage.

Can I buy a spare cover for my bed?

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to buy replacement covers.

Since moving back home after a lengthy renovation project our 2x10 year old Asian Burmese pair have opted to sleep on old blankets as instead of the new shop beds we'd bought them. The blankets were hideous but probably smelt of home to them! We did wonder whether they'd reject these new Omlet beds but from the first night they have both curled up as shown. My two boys are happy snoozing on their Maya Donut beds. I bought the Earl grey and because there were times when they would push one another off the bed I had to buy a second bed. Now there are no fights about who gets the Donut bed. Peace has been restored now that there are two.
