OK I’m new at this, my coop is sitting on Astro Turf. Should I cut a piece out to expose dirt or leave the Astroturf and what kind of mess am I expecting? I also have enough hardy board to put under my coop. Would that be acceptable and then just add, a tub of sand they’re allowed to run in my yard. Also, TIA✌️????

Qorm composts is one of the best way to add beneficial microbes to the soil. I will be starting mine soon. Thanks for the post.

I worry that having one or more of them in my bare hand will diminish their protective moist slip-and-slideness. And on top of that: they TICKLE. So I try to be prepared for not even just one or two that I've found in some unexpected place and have it/them in a pleasant way, until I can get it/them into something mutually acceptable. Thank you, Alex Duncan
