Easy to hook up, works great,!

Upgraded to automatic smart door for chicken coop. Hooked it up to mains and couldn’t be happier. So much piece of mind to look from outdoor cctv and see they are all in early so remotely close ahead of schedule, and have done so from overseas too. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Although not needed because the door comes with a bracket to install on wire fencing, I am so glad I spent the money. Easy peasy!

Was out if town when this happened... Omlet's new wifi auto chicken door control panel just saved my chickens!!! On my chicken cam I see a boa snake lurking outside the chicken coop. It can't find a hole w all my expansion foam I sprayed. This was at 1am alerted by my chicki cam motion I immediately told omlet to switch from timed opening to manual. The chickens are safe inside w food and water until we remove the snake from outside Wow!!!! I only had this one week and already saved the life of my chickens. The door would have opened at 5am and the snake is confirmed still outside waiting for them.

I installed the Smart Autodoor Control Panel on my chicken coop today, it was a simple swap from the old controller. I really like the app, and now I don't need to walk out to the coop to check the door.

Due to predators and with my travels I'm so glad to be able to remotely open/shut and reprogram in the fly. My chickens are much safer. Thank you for providing the wifi remote capabilities. I would suggest adding solar panels and internal lithium batteries so that we can keep the panels always live and not require a nearby power supply for many of us w remote coop locations.

I've had the omlet door for a few years now and it's been great when I'm out in the evenings knowing that the hens are safe without me physically doing it. I just upgraded to the smart door and man! It's awesome! It connects right to. Your phone. No more scrolling through every hour just to set the time or trying to count what time your coop closes in military time. I love that it alerts me when the door opens and closes and especially when it's blocked! So convenient! I highly recommend

Being able to upgrade just the control panel was a huge plus for me, I have two doors already and didn't need more. This gives me plenty of confidence in the product and company. The app is very easy to use, I had some minor trouble with initial setup but chalk it up to operator error. I accidentally turned off WiFi on the control panel, and had to troubleshoot to find the problem. The user documentation might benefit some folks if it were not more comprehensive. The app does everything I want it to, and smoothly. I love being about to see when the doors are opening and closing. Remote door control is an epic feature, though I haven't had to use it yet because the light sensors work incredibly well! For me the most useful feature is knowing door status without needing to go outside with a flashlight. I actually feel like I could go camping without a chicken minder now. Thank you Omlet!

An excellent idea I bought them as soon as I have the chance. As most people discover especially when you use the open and close by time function; as you enter the summer months of course the days get longer and the chickens come out sooner so you have to change the opening times and closing times of the door since the days are longer. In the past I would have to monitor this from some video cameras I have to determine what time the chickens were getting up so I can make sure the doors were open. Unlike most I use the two doors I have they go to my feeder box which has the two feeding bins in it. I have a different kind of door in my coop. Anyway though it's so convenient to be able to reprogram the opening and closing times from in stores without having to go out to the Run each time I noticed I need to change the opening or closing times based on the longer days of spring and summer. One suggestion I would have which would be great for me is if it would be possible to create the upgrade on the software so that one could create multiple open and close times. For people using this on a coupe it doesn't have much application but for me using it for my feeder doors it would allow me to create multiple opening and closing times which would be a great way to produce pilfering from squirrels and other creatures that occasionally access the feeders during the day. Anyway great product would love to see such a software update that would be terrific. Again I use these for my feeder box two of them inside a box with two doors for each feeder. Works really well. I typically use the time function because there's just too much variability with the light sensor function it usually opens way too late. But if you're using the time function or even I guess the manual function this is a terrific upgrade to your door.
