Good all round product but would be handy to be able to set the time in the morning (prefer them to come out at 7am in summer) and dusk setting in the evening. At the moment can't mix and match.

I have an older Omlet door and I saw an email about this 'smart' controller. I thought how nice it would be to have this controlled by an app so I know for SURE that the door is open/closed. I learned that I could switch out the control panels so I ordered and got my package yesterday. It was easy peasy to switch out and get it hooked up to the app. I felt like superwoman. I had notifications overnight telling me it was checking in and this morning got a text at 6:30 a.m. that the door was open. This will be a heavenly peace of mind when we are away and during inclement weather. Thanks again, Omlet!

We've had the standard automated Omlet door for a few years now but this new control panel somehow made it even better! It doesn't remove any of the best features of the original. Rather, adds smartphone control and a dedicated 12v hookup while keeping the batteries in as backup if you want it. Installation was ultra easy and all we had to do was unplug the old unit and plug the new one in. Super impressive!

We have the original model so it took me about 10 minutes from start to finish. The hardware and wires are the same. Connected to Bluetooth and then the door calibrated about 5 times. App is user friendly too. Good job omlet!

The switch to the new door and AP was very easy. Plug and play. My girls are still chicks and are just now settling into a nightly routine. So, for the next couple of weeks, I'm using manual mode. Very happy with this door and AP

Three units later, I am loving this new smart door opener! First one just opened the door; the second allowed a power supply vs just batteries. This one combines those and allows operation via your phone. I was able to get four right before I was leaving for several days to attend a wedding halfway across the country. I have 5 Eglu doors, 4 of which are used daily. I could turn on lights, open and close doors all the way from TX to VA. I could change the time from my phone, which means even at home I don’t have to go outside and go from coop to coop to make the change. I love them! Now, as long as they last and are dependable, they will be the best thing for chicken keepers!

I upgraded my original Autodoor with the new Smart Autodoor. It was a quick process of unplugging the old, plugging in the new, and following the app. I impressed that, despite a greater than recommended distance between my Wi-Fi source and the coop, I still get a good connection. One tip before replacing your existing control panel; note the opening and closing options you are using. I made slight changes from the default light levels and wanted to keep settings consistent. Chickens are such creatures of habit!

Our hens aren't at home so it was a real nuisance having to go back out to our smallholding late in the evening to secure them. This door has solved all of that! The light that comes on with it helps them all get onto their roosts safely and then the door quietly closes. Couldn't be without it.

Omlet has done it once again! Innovative products for everyday chicken keepers. I’m BEYOND excited about this product!! I have an existing auto door and for whatever reason, one of my girls hasn’t gotten inside the coop more times than I’d prefer. When I’m out of town, there’s nothing I can do other than stress. Even when I’m home, it’s not fun going out in the pouring rain or cold weather to let them in. Having the door connected to an app on my phone is just what I’ve been waiting for! Switching the control panel was a piece of cake and so was setting everything up. It literally only took a few minutes and I’m now connected at all times. I love this company and I love this product!
