I love knowing that I can control the door from afar. It is extremely helpful during intense weather, when a hen gets accidentally locked out, and for emergency reasons.

The setup was very easy and feels reasonably secure. I like the push notifications more than I had expected to.

My door has been in use now for 21 months, still operating with the original batteries showing 80% charge. The door has worked flawlessly in 0 degrees as well as 115 degrees and I am incredibly pleased.

Installed the auto door and light about 4 weeks ago into a Cube Mk2. Should have bought this a long time ago! Means we can have a sleep-in on a Sunday morning and have the odd night away without having to worry or find someone else to close/open the Eglu door. Installed relatively easy with clear step by step instructions. Required some dismantling of the Cube, but this made installation easier. If you’re fitting into a Cube Mk2, it doesn’t matter what colour you choose, as the coloured side of the door is on the inside (unless your chickens have a preference for green or grey)! We bought the light for it, but this only confused the chickens when it came on as they were already inside and then ventured out when the light came on, then being locked out! So we don’t use the light, but the door is great. We have it on timed open/close every day and the battery is still showing as 100% after nearly 4 weeks. I’d highly recommend this auto door!!

Installed into my 4 meter x 4 meter pole and mesh frame , it allows the hens to have some freedom inside the mesh frame in the light summer months before free ranging once we are up and about , had problems with foxes a few times when the hens were out early doors, now safe until we are around. Easy fit and time set up , 4 good quality batteries have lasted 8 months.

The attachment kit is merely some plastic edge strips. So made it easy to fit the auto door to my Go Up cage. Happy to recommend.

Bought this to replace a vertical auto door that continuously would not open properly. I hoped that the horizontally opening door would close completely every night, keeping my chickens safe. It works so much better that I am buying a second Omlet door for the other side. It’s very good quality and easy to install. Highly recommend!

This door is amazingly simple to install and use. I have three automatic coop doors for my coops and this one was the easiest and fastest install. It was so simple and I liked it so much that when it was time to get an auto door for my Silkie Coop this was my go to door. The only thing I wish was that there could be a separate auto program for the coop light. It is set to come on 5 minutes before the door closes, but for Silkies they are so stubborn - it would be nice to be able the coop light to come on and go off on a separate schedule from the door. This way you could have the light come on independently of the door so they had plenty of time to get in and get comfy before the door closes. I use a smart coop light in my other coops and control the light with a schedule within the Phillips Hue app, but I didn't have electrical to add to my newest coop, so I chose to use the Omlet Coop light with the auto door. I really hope they take this request into consideration so that it might help other chicken owners as well. Aside from this small issue the door itself is fantastic and so easy to use!
