Very nice - one question though- gerbils like going up tube - not down. Any advice on how to help them along with that ?

Omlet Says: Hi Karen, Thank you for your comment. It might take your pet a few days to get the hang of the tube, but they will learn eventually. Try giving your pets treats to encourage them to climb both up and down the tube. You can also take the tube out of the cage and let your pet explore it during playtime, tilting it gradually more and more until your pet runs through it in a horizontal position. I bought this about 2 months ago, my pair of gerbils (Peanut and Frodo) love it. It only took a day or two for them to learn how to use the tube, and now happily run up and down all through the day. It is very sturdy and keeps out the inquisitive cats. The storage cabinet underneath is handy and secure. The supplied accessories are good. A lot of thought has gone into the design and it makes it easy to clean out.

Love this cage. It's so easy to clean and we can see and interact with our gerbils anytime. There's little or no mess outside the cage, which has been an issue with most other cages we've had. It's very secure and looks great too. We have the model with storage underneath.
Only downside is we'd like a bigger version. We don't think it's quite enough space for 3-4 gerbils so we've had to get a larger cage which I like less.

Bought this after looking at reviews I have had 3 hamsters over a period of 10yrs mostly in cages from pets at home I'm 66 and I thought it was time for a new friend the cage is wonderful well designed and goes together very easy I did use a drill driver which made screwing together a lot easier.charlie my new friend loves it had him less than a week still waiting for him to find the tunnel that leads down to bottom compartment but fingers crossed

I am obsessed with this cage. I moved in with my boyfriend who has a cat and dog, and we were worried about keeping my hamster safe. I had a big wire cage at the time, but it was very easy to knock over and left my hamster too exposed. This cage is heavy and the wood on either side with the plastic lower part keeps her safe. We’ve had the cage for 3 months and it’s holding up well and was easy to assemble/clean! The wheel is a great size and I love that it attaches to the back of the cage and is quiet.
Only thing I will say is my hamster is tiny, and the orange tube it came with was too big for her to get up and down. But this was an easy fix. I had a lot of tubes left over from her other cage and I put those in there instead.
Other than that, highly recommend!!

We bought this a few weeks ago and have been so pleased, for starters it looks really good like a piece of furniture! But most importantly our hamster seems very happy in there, she has lots of space and it's easy to clean out. She is an escape artist (this is her 3rd cage)so this was our last resort, so far she hasn't chewed on any of it (fingers crossed she doesn't find a way) but I think that's because she really likes it in there. Easy to put together with my daughter (took about 30 mins). Really good quality and great customer service. Also the wheel really is quiet!

I baught this 2 years ago for my hamster jimmy fudge who has now passed I still have this cage ready for a new hamster this is amazing may not be in the price range for some people but if it in your price rage I totally recommend I was going to have this in my bedroom as a bedside table but my younger sibling fell in love with the fact that you can see my hamster inside and on the wheel it’s sad to see it sitting there empty but nice knowing it’s ready for a new hamster to enjoy best hamster cage you can get
