I have purchased 3 of these waters, 1 small and 2 medium I guess now sense there is now a 5 gallon. Everything that Omlet claims about them is true. Pricey, yes, but clean water, insulated and NO alge/slime. So much time saved in not having to scrub out all the time, priceless. My chickens water intake continues to be high even on the very hot spells. I never worry about them becoming dehydrated. Great product. I just purchased a few more chickens (of course) and now think I will be adding the new 5 gallon size.

Easy assembly, stays clean, cool and our girls adapted to the nipples immediately but if not having the cups was a relief. Also, not having to purchase one or the other separately, as many other products do, is excellent. Very satisfied, might buy another as my only concern is it only holds 3 gallons, but as 5g might be more difficult to suspend its all good.

And so do the birds. It works straight out of the box and has been perfect so far for 3 months. It saves feed and has helped eliminate mice and rats.

Having recently purchased the all singing all dancing smart feeder it was a natural progression to get the drinker too. I have been trying to avoid plastic feeders for years, but there is nothing in the market that stops water from turning green and muddy. This clever design has liberated chicken keeping. I wanted to use only the nipples but after a week only one hen had mastered them and she failed to teach the others, so I have just put one cup on. Just using one will reduce evaporation. I have 7 hens but they are not all lining up for a drink at the same time, and it gives them a chance to learn if they might how to use the nipples.

I got a dog and put up a fence so I wanted somewhere for Dr. Dre to hang out, and he loves it!

Life changer ! Very well made and good quality . The chickens took to using it straight away , I am now happy that chickens have access to clean water daily and has saved me a daily task . I have 40 chickens and now only refil once per week rather than sometimes twice per day with my old plastic waterers . It’s so easy to refil and easy to clean . Would 100% recommend , clean insulated water no algae !! Thank you Omlet !

I was concerned my one bantam wouldn't be able to access the food, but she can! The big girls also like it, although the more dominant hens will crowd into the hood of a lower-ranked hen if they think there's a better hood. Still, it's a body push instead of a sharp peck, so I think that's a win for the lowbies. We've had some rain and the food's stayed dry. I love the transparency of the hopper, great to see the food levels. I did remove the red collar at the bottom at first so they'd get used to putting their heads in, but put it back in after they were used to it, as I do have one hen who will aggressively bill out food. The red collar stopped that, and I've not seen any wasted food on the ground since. All in all, a very good purchase, I'm happy. Oh, and I got the 11kg size.

I was reluctant to purchase the feeder due to the cost but we had to try something because our girls were starting to fight over the feed and so much was being wasted. This feeder has been fantastic! Well worth the money, it functions exactly as described, it is very well made and the girls figured out how to use it in about 5 second's! We have 7 chooks so went with the biggest option, it lasts them 6-7days which has been such a time saver. I also purchased the insulated water option and it is also fantastic!

This is the best insulated waterer on the market that we have tried. It is nice not to have to switch out to a heated waterer in the winter. It holds enough volume of water that we do not have to refill it twice a day like we did with the waterers in our ‘waterer graveyard.’ It is a little more expensive an other waterers but the investment is worthwhile.
