As we set it out in the run last night we had our doubts they would use it right away because some chickens can be very shy about new surroundings. The pic is worth a thousand words. When the doors opened this morning the girls busted out like the Kool-Aid Man, headed straight for it and dug in. We have a serious bully hen so we bought another one today to place in a covered area of their yard for the low hen. I had it put together, setup and filled within 20 min. Super easy to do. I appreciated how easy it was to connect to my wifi. It would be nice if it came with the 4AA batteries (hint)

We have loved this so much, we bought another one for our new baby chickens. It’s so awesome not to worry about stuff getting in the watered and also no more hand cleaning the watered weekly. You fill it up and let the chickens take it from there. We don’t have to refill as often as we used to. So worth the purchase.

I’m new to having chickens. After looking around and reading a lot about feeder and waterer options, I was convinced that it would be worth it to spend more initially to get superior, low/no waste options. So far, I have not been disappointed at all……and we’re not into the blazing hot TX summer season yet. I know I’ll be happier with the insulated waterer! Love that my chickens will have plenty of cool, clean water to drink. I absolutely wanted lower maintenance for both their feeder and waterer, which these provide. I know the higher upfront cost than cheaper options will be made up in terms of feed not being wasted (yay!) and all the time I won’t be spending constantly cleaning and refilling cheaper feeders and waterers. Lastly, the insulated waterer and nipple option should typically work fine through our icky cold spells, so I don’t anticipate needing to run any electricity and purchase a de-icer for their waterer. Another win!

Needed an upgrade. Looked long and hard for best design. I think we found it with the Omlet. So far so good. Will order another.

I think this is the best feeder by far. The food is kept clean and dry and let's me know when it's getting low on food. I let it open and close by daylight and dusk . It's amazing to watch and it's quiet opening as well. Thank you to the people who designed this. I have been waiting for this for years. It looks very smart in the run with the new omlet drinker as well. My girls are very happy, they took to it straight away no problems.

I have been using a Grandpa Feeder for the last 5 years - but my chickens would spill SO much food. I had to sweep under the feeder every week and the spillage would attract vermin. I changed to the Eglu feeder and the difference is vast. There has been NO waste at all. The chickens worked it out very quickly and there have been no vermin. I do not have wi-fi that reaches and am using the light sensor for opening and closing and it has not failed me yet. I highly recommend this product.

Love, love, love!! I tried the treadle feeder, they were terrified, they literally went almost 2 months on 1 bag of feed, and yes, I followed the training directions, twice. I cant believe no one actually starved to death. They got thin though. I tried other no waste feeders too, only fed the mice. This feeder though, utilizing the hanger, absolutely no mess, if they spill it, they eat it! Now my girls are fat and happy and stress-free!! And so am I , because im not feeding rodents. I actually ordered a second one to extend refill time. Would recommend to anyone!!

I love the new insulated chicken Waterer! Saves me time on refilling their water but also on cleaning it constantly! Recommending it!

Has stopped ALL feed messes and waste! The best feeder purchase. Some mild bullying because my chickens still want to pick best food bits and go around to each portal. Took a couple of fearful chickens about 1wk to learn how to use, but others right away.
