I have had chickens for about 10 years now and I can say this is the best feeder and waterer I have ever purchased. It will save you money in the long run. My chickens use to waste so much food and now they are not able to throw all the feed on the ground. Cut my feed bill in half. The waterer is like a big cooler that keeps the water cold which is great in Texas. The hangers are great quality also!

These products may cost a little more, but you get what you pay for. The quality of the feeders are beyond my satisfaction. The delivery time down to the quality of the packaging shows they care about what they sell.

I really like this product, I love how easy it was to set up, I love how sturdy it is, I love the gauge where you can see how much water is left. I also really like the locking lid and the cone shape so they don’t sit on the top of it. I really love how it is so easy to clean! A few cold mornings (around 20 degrees Fahrenheit) if the water wasn’t over half full, the top layer of water would freeze, but the rest was fine. That is very positive to me. I would like for the legs to be a little longer honestly, I have had to put it on some boards and that just makes things messy and opportunities for mold etc. longer legs would be really nice.

Fantastic idea, wish I’d thought of it. Keeps veges off the ground which can attract pests like rats and wild birds. Provides environmental enrichment for our chicken ladies too.

Both our coop and waterer are working perfectly and one of the best buys. Even had a fox just lying next to it unable to get in. Dog scared the fox off! Would buy again!

I have greatly enjoyed the 3 gallon. Please make a 5 gallon as well.

This waterer is a game changer for me. I don’t have to fill the girls’ water as often and it stays clean! Great product so far. I love that it has space for a water heater, though I got it at winter’s end so I haven’t had the chance to use that feature yet. We’ll see how it handles our -15 degree temps next year.

The Omlet insulated waterer does a great job keeping water from freezing in cold weather, which as made winter care much easier. It is simple to clean and maintain, even with regular use. I especially love the window that lets me check water levels at a glance without opening it.

This waterer is a real game changer for anyone who is fed up of cleaning their current waterers on a daily basis. Forget all those other products that claim to be the best, because this one really ticks all the boxes. This is the only waterer out of many that I have tried that actually keeps water fresh for days, essential if you can’t get to your hens everyday or you don’t have the time to keep changing and cleaning their water out daily. There’s a few setup options for this, use the cups or nipples, rest it on the ground, raise it up on a base or hang it from the run. I went for the nipples in order to negate the need for cleaning the cups out, which I knew the hens would get dirty from the mud they dig up before having a drink. I had some worries the hens might not be able to figure the nipples out after always using a trough or cups but having seen them peck at the rain water on the run I had faith they would get it. If you are using the nipples be prepared to have the waterer higher off the ground than just the feet, either using a base or hang it from the run in order to have the nipples at beak height. My hens are at the back of the garden so using a trough was even more of a pain as I had to clean it each day, I would have to walk back up to the house to use the tap, clean it, refill it then carry it back whilst the water sloshed everywhere. With this I can fill it and put the lid on, no spillage! I placed the top hen in front of one of the nipples and pushed it to let the water out, once she saw the water she began pecking at it and after a couple more pushes she figured out how to do it herself. I did the same for the others and they all got it so easily. I have been watching them for a couple of days and I have never seen them drink so much. They go back to it constantly and I don’t know if it’s the fun of pecking for the water or it’s genuinely better for them rather than bending down to use the trough. Either way they love it. I’m looking forward to seeing how it copes with any extreme weather we have in the Midlands, England, but so far this is definitely a winner for chicken keepers.
