"This is a great feeder. It's robust and sits well on its legs even when almost empty. My hens of all sizes can access their food without any argy bargy. There has been no spilt food and no debris has worked its way into the feeder. The clear sides means at a glance I can see if I need to top up. With 14 hens I'd feel confident that I could go away for a couple of days knowing the girls have enough food to see them through and that it won't get tipped over or spoilt."

It actually stays clean! Even in humid Hawaii. And I can put ice inside to make cold. Highly recommend. Buying another one now :)

Have had chickens for few years, never had a problem with other critters raiding their food, until a few weeks ago. I got one of these feeders, set it up, and presto, the food remains for the girls and not anyone else. If you have persistent critters, then hanging it is the best option, as there are some, as I learned, that will flip it over and move the latch to dine
