Sizzle Chicks 3-8 weeks
I have sizzle chicks that are anywhere from 3-8 weeks old. You can't tell if the feathers will frizzle until the adult feathers start coming in between 2 and 3 weeks. (This is why the sizzles aren't available until 3 weeks).
A sizzle is Sikie and Cochin cross. They chicken stands upright like a silkie. It may or may not have black skin and toes but does USUALLY end up with 5 toes on each foot (at least in mine). There are 4 types of Sizzles. The 2 I have are the following: Smooth sizzle which looks like a silkie but it has hard feathers like other chickens, and the other is just called Sizzle (some call it frizzle sizzle) that looks like the silkie but has frizzled hard feathers. The other 2 kinds still have the soft feathers like the silkie but the feathers frizzle (curl). For some reason we haven't achieved this varity yet.
If you buy 5 or less they are $5.00 each, 5-9 are $4.00 each and 10 or more are $3.00 each.
