Absolutely delighted with this cage overall. However, the small gap between the drawer and upper section of the cage proved large enough for my daughters hamster to escape so i’d advise against putting anything in the drawer that they can climb on near the edges. We put a little house in there and he jumped up from that and pulled himself out. He’s safely back inside now minus the house. It really is a lovely alternative to a regular cage. Cleaning is easy because you can just empty the drawer straight into the bin. The wheel is very quiet compared to others and Tommy loves the tube between upper and lower cage. Very happy with purchase.

We purchased this for my two baby gerbils, after my first pair passed away a few months before. It took a couple of days for the gerbils to figure out the tube, but eventually they got it and have never thought twice about it again. The wheel has been a huge hit, they practically never get off of it and the convenience of it is great! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to give a home to their small animal!

Easy to put together, Hammy seems happy although he does sometimes move his nest upstairs, which makes a mess on the floor.

We love this cage, as do the mice. One request - can you design some corner litter trays for the top shelf. I can only find giant ones on line. Our mice wee in each corner which then runs down into the peg slots for the tray underneath meaning you have to do a full clean out each week. Our home made fix is kitchen roll ‘wee catchers’ which work well but feel you could probably do a better job!

I chose this cage because it looked so neat and the design would let my son be able to take care of them more independently. Love the design and all the features. I feel like our gerbils have two rooms to choose between.

I wasn't sure if this 'cage' was going to be worth the money, but it's simply the best solution to a hamster's needs. Her quality of life is much improved. I am so pleased with the whole idea and quality. It works brilliantly and I cannot recommended it highly enough. Perfect size for one syrian hamster.

Nice cage, useful storage drawer, fun vertical tube for getting from one floor to the other, but our new male Syrian Hamster seemed rather cooped up in it and looked like he just needed more space. We now have bought another larger cage for his night time escapades.

I have had the Qute for 2 years and my hamster is so happy and healthy in this cage. The storage is clever and it disguises as a piece of furniture. The customer care team couldn’t be more helpful too. They’re an excellent company to deal with.

I love this cage, as yet un- tenanted, it looks like it’s going to be a great little gerbil home! My only gripe is the assembly, 47 steps and a million bits and pieces, I almost gave up and in fact did give up on the door to the storage compartment, we just couldn’t get it to stay in without the rest going awful! The wooden peg joins are a nightmare, 3 of mine snapped!!! I got there eventually but not for the faint hearted!!

I have been looking for a hamster cage for ages and researched lots before I decided to go with this one. I loved the fact that it’s like a piece of furniture and is the perfect size for a Syrian hamster. When we first put Rolo in he stayed at the top and loved his wheel and climbing on the wire sides, he didn’t venture in his own down the tube so the following day I put him in the bottom. He loved it! There is so much room for digging but he couldn’t go upstairs by himself (I’d left little nuts around the top for him to find and each night they were still there.) Two days after putting him downstairs I got a long carrot and held it down the tube and sure enough he soon learnt how to come up the tube to chase the carrot He was unable to go down so I’d move him downstairs to keep going up! It took him about a week to figure out how to get both up and down the tube and now he happily plays upstairs and then goes down stairs to dig and hide his food. I think I would prefer the tube to be at the side so I could put more toys inside but other than that it’s great. I’ve cleaned it without any trouble and the best thing is that I can clean it without disturbing Rolo too much. I use the cupboard to store his food tubs and his monkey nut treats and it’s great. I don’t use it to store sawdust or bedding because I prefer to take the draw outside to clean so that stays in the garage. I recommend this cage it’s really well built, simple to build, easy to clean and best of all Rolo seems happy!
