We got this cage for a syrian hamster we adopted that had only had a very small cage with a thin layer of bedding. She immediately took to burrowing through the bedding in the bottom drawer of the qute and spends a lot of time there. We fill it quite high. She clearly loves having the chance to burrow - something her previous habitat did not provide for. I thought she'd find it difficult getting up and down the tunnel especially since it's buried in the bedding but she manages fine. My only concern is it looks a little small. It would be good if there were options to buy two of them to link together. I have seen other people have done this by DIY but we're not very good at that sort of thing. Maybe the product team can design a front or back cage portion with a tunnel attachment that can be connected to another enclosure?

Bought this for my grandson's 8th birthday in September so he could interact and learn to look after his hamster. He loves it and it is so easy for him to use. Cleans out both areas himself and Oreo the Syrian Hamster mastered the tube after only a couple of days! Very pleased!

Our gerbils love their home! On the first day they didn’t go up the tube be we discovered they’d manage to do so overnight but then couldn’t get down. Had to physically move them back down but then they soon got the hang of it and by end of day 2 they were professionals! Cage is easy to clean and my daughters love being able to take the lower section out so they can easily interact with their gerbils. One gerbil does seem to go very fast on the wheel and often does a 360 turn on it so slightly worried he might hurt himself. Also my youngest daughter has said she would like to see a cage that does have an open side view so that you can see all the way round the bottom section. Other than that we love the product. Was easy to assemble too. Did discover though that one gerbil was able to remove the silver bolts (?) so have left those out for the time being.

So I've had this cage for 3 hamsters, all of them have seemed happy with it, but I'm unsure if its too small or not? I like the 2 floors on it and my hamster Blossom loves it same with my past hamsters Cookie and Goldie. I think its great and I like it im just worried its too small thats all ????

Brought this for my sons 10th birthday surprise. The instructions for putting together came in a booklet and was really clear and thorough, took about an hour. The gerbils ‘Oreo & Chipper’ are super happy with their new home, the bottom compartment is deep enough for them to burrow happily. We are really pleased we spent the money on this unit, which fits in with our decor.

Our Qute arrived a few days ago, it took me around an hour to assemble alongside three very excited children asking if their hamster could move in yet! It took her a few hours to work the tube but now she is a pro. I love how clever the design is and how easy it seems it will be to keep it all clean. My children range from 4 to 11 and they are all finding it easy to give her care and cuddles. To be part of the furniture is really clever - I love that it will suit anywhere. I picked the Qute with storage which seems to have more than enough space inside for bedding and food. The wheel isn't quite as quiet as I had hoped but our hamster is pretty big so maybe she just weighs it down more! She also refused to use the wheel in her last cage but has used this one daily so I am happy knowing she gets more exercise! I agree with a previous comment that different coloured tubes etc would be a bonus too.

Unfortunately I had a number of issues with this hamster cage 1. urine leaks out of bedding tray 2. waterbottle leaked 3. wrong colour cage was sent originally. Customer services told me in January that they'd be getting leak proof bedding trays in March (trays that don't come apart) and that one would be sent to me becuase of the issue. I have since been sent the wrong item and am STILL waiting for the leakproof tray. Customer services has not been good throughout the entire process and I don't recommend. 7 months later and urine is still leaking through the tray.

I just recieved this yesterday I got the one with out storage. I give it 3 stars 1 because as I was put it together some of the wood split and I was going so gentle with the screws and 2 it is smaller than expected. I got my new Syrian Hamster a week ago. The reason I chose this cage from the one he is in at the moment is because, he is such a nervous little boy that I thought he would feel so much more comfortable with the lower section where he can burrow and hide. The cage he is in now is just a basic cage. I will try him in his Omlet one and see how he goes. I just worry it is going to be to small for him.

A wonderful habitat for our hamster and our Daughter, who can watch her, as our hamster plays, has sand baths and eats Also, super easy to keep clean and tidy, whilst keeping the hamster safe.
